Dan Seals was so alive and you just had to love the guy. Paul Davis was a true genuis, and was so under stated in his time. Both men are sorely missed. Dan had so much more to give, I will really miss him
Two of my favorite male singers !!! Forever head over heels in love with Paul Davis, my life long sorrow I never met him. I went to his final resting place & told him how much I love him. I swear the sun came out immediately so I think I'll have another friend to see in Heaven. All my love Paul darling !!!
Back when country music was pleasant to listen to. I miss these songs and the great bands then. I have tons of burnt cds of these classic country songs. Ill never again buy a new cd. RIP Paul and Dan.
Damn shame both these guys left us after 60 years, relatively close together in time. Lot of talent there, not to mention tons of talent in the extended Seals family.
Wow! I find it hard to believe that both of these precious souls were taken from us, each at such a young age! I look forward to meeting and fellowship with them in the hereafter! I know that God smiled upon Dan and Paul!
He seemed like a really nice man, I started listening to him back when he was called England Dan. Love his music with John Ford Coley. Miss Paul & Dan they left us all too soon. YOU are so Right ! He will never be forgotten.
My dad bought one of his tape back in 1991 and is was one of our few cassette tapes in the mountain and anyone who hears his songs wanted to copy. I am from the mountain "literally" in the Philippines. Now I am now here in the US(Texas) just last year and search for his songs on you tube and found out that he already died years ago. Sad.
I'd think paul was a big drinker I'd say and mabey other stuff to iv noticed he was shot in 1986 in Nashville leaving a hotel with a woman.when I was 43 I was in good shape I could still run and jump stay up late and get up and work 12 hrs a day no more.dans my favorite .
This is Paul’s niece. @darrellwalker5203 you should not be randomly posting what you “think” about how someone that you never even met before lived their life. Paul was one of the kindest, sincere, and best people to walk the face of this earth. He did not drink or do drugs. Paul would rather create music and fish! Paul was shot coming out of a hotel on music row but it was where they had a songwriter’s night that he attended. The “woman” he was with was his wife. A man came out of the shadows and demanded Paul’s wallet in the parking lot. When he did not give it to him, the robber shot him in his side. Paul almost died. I loved him very much. How dare you make such assumptions?
When I was a kid I listened but didn't feel it mind you I was a kid .now that I'm in my 40's I can feel this great music and Mr Dan and Mr,Paul's genius song writing skills and performing skills that not one country artist or any artist today can make u feel
I miss them both. Country music has not been the same since both men passed on. They kept it American. I would carry their torch. I live in California. I want to leave this state. It's not the USA I remember.
Today's "country" music stinks. Nearly all the real country singers are gone, and the wannabes of today's "New Country" dress like a bunch of fairly pimps and whores.
He had a heart attack after his 60th birthday it was a very sad sad day, all of the crew we were devasted because he was such a cool ass dude, i miss that old hippie and his funny ass stories!!
I played in a band called Tradewinds, and this was one of the most requested songs we did. I played saxes, so it fit our style great. And we do miss those artists who have left, too soon.
I played this song for my 8 year old when he was doing his nighttime routine and he was singing by the second verse. Rest In Peace to these stars- God bless these men and their families!
I remember singing this song when I was little. I had good taste and I still love this song! Everything Dan Seals sang was gold in my eyes! Love and miss an amazing artist! Thanks so much for posting!
On this day in 1987 {February 5th} Dan Seals' album "Won't Be Blue Anymore" was certified Gold The album peaked at #1 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart and three tracks from the album reached #1 on Billboard's Hot Country Singles chart The #1 singles were; "Meet Me In Montana {for 1 week, featuring Marie Osmond}, "Bop" {for 1 week}, and "Everything That Glitters (Is Not Gold)" {for 1 week} Dan Seals passed away on March 25th, 2009 at the age of 61 R.I.P. Mr. Seals...
One of the very best videos I've seen and songs I've heard, especially in the last decade or so. This is real music! Can you imagine these guys boppin it up for the big guy upstairs?!?! Missin you guys forever!
Yeah...wutzernutzer, I thought the same. Pauls range is amazing and by listening to this video, many wouldn't make the distiction that this was the same person who sang "I Go Crazy" I don't know if it's age related as singers get older or just pure talent but it seems more natural for Paul in this video. Two truly remarkable singers who left our hearts with great soulful music.
dan music give ,me peace in my heart, i dont like all the new country crap today dan seals is a legend his voice is so strong and good nice and smooth text on his songs too gretings from norway rip dan the country king.
Can anyone tell me how and when Paul Davis died..He was so talented..Cool Night was the best song ever..How sad we lose the best talented musicians..R.I.P. to all whom have passed..Also whom have let such a legacy with their beautiful music..
Paul was a genius...for some reason, he seems to really be bored and not very inspired during this interview, that being said, I think his songs were some of the most beautiful ever written...Like "Sweet Life" and "I Go Crazy" Davis even defied the music business with his Christian song, "Do Right". He had so much talent. This was not long after he was stabbed coming out of a Nashville night club, so maybe that triggered the lethargy. I think he was highly underrated, but Davis was truly an American treasure. He could write hit songs in his sleep, all number one's, "Bop", "How Much Do I Love You?", and "You're Still New to Me." Few singers have ever had such a pleasant voice with the gift of writing such wonderful songs.
I loved both Dan and Paul's music. It's such a shame they died so young. RIP guys.
Dan Seals was so alive and you just had to love the guy. Paul Davis was a true genuis, and was so under stated in his time. Both men are sorely missed. Dan had so much more to give, I will really miss him
Thanks for saying that about Paul Davis! ❤
Thanks. :)
I love Paul Davis you are missed
Ditto! Wonderful talent
Two wonderful singers that left us much too early.........I love their music !
This song was CRAZY popular when it came out.
Two of my favorite male singers !!! Forever head over heels in love with Paul Davis, my life long sorrow I never met him. I went to his final resting place & told him how much I love him. I swear the sun came out immediately so I think I'll have another friend to see in Heaven. All my love Paul darling !!!
Gosh how beautiful
Back when country music was pleasant to listen to. I miss these songs and the great bands then. I have tons of burnt cds of these classic country songs. Ill never again buy a new cd. RIP Paul and Dan.
Two great voices that are now silent. Both are now singing with the angel band.
It's so sad that Mr seals and Mr Davis have passed away however their music lives on
I love bop
I bet those guys are singing together up in heaven
RIP Dan Seals and Paul Davis
Two of the best singer and song writers of all time . ❤️
I'll never stop listening, enjoying and loving their great music.

Two of my favs… Dan Seals and Paul Davis. Just great!
The BEST of music!❤ thank you so much
Damn shame both these guys left us after 60 years, relatively close together in time. Lot of talent there, not to mention tons of talent in the extended Seals family.
(Paul Davis) What a quite low key manner man. How sweet.
Wow! I find it hard to believe that both of these precious souls were taken from us, each at such a young age! I look forward to meeting and fellowship with them in the hereafter! I know that God smiled upon Dan and Paul!
Miss these two great singer-songwriters! They are solely missed!
Dan is my cousin, rest in peace, you will never be forgotten!
He seemed like a really nice man, I started listening to him back when he was called England Dan. Love his music with John Ford Coley. Miss Paul & Dan they left us all too soon. YOU are so Right ! He will never be forgotten.
Im from brazil and Seals and Davis two good singers i like many hits! Rest in peace
Saw Dan in concert in Florida in the early 2000 he put on a wonderful show.
Sorry For Your Loss

It's still hard to believe that they're both gone.
Love, love, love, just so loving it...Great fun song !!!
Thank you for this classic song, Dan n Paul...RIP xxx
09May 2019....Melbourne,Australia....
Paul Davis was only 43 there. Both Dan Seals and Paul Davis had distinctive drawls, but killed it on the adult contemporary!
Yet they looked like they wer 60 in this video
No they didn’t!
@@GStraitKISS1 the Paul guy looks pretty darn old for 43, but Dan looks like he's in his forties, but Paul does look pretty rough for 43 🤷🏽♀️
I'd think paul was a big drinker I'd say and mabey other stuff to iv noticed he was shot in 1986 in Nashville leaving a hotel with a woman.when I was 43 I was in good shape I could still run and jump stay up late and get up and work 12 hrs a day no more.dans my favorite .

Love these guys that could sing country and pop and just make the most soothing music!

Don't mean to be rude but "BOP" was not a country song you doof.
Robbnok Don’t get your panties in a wad.
@@haroldcall2441 well it is so true
He had a heart attack after his 60th birthday it was a very sad sad day, all of the crew we were devasted because he was such a cool ass dude, i miss that old hippie and his funny ass stories!!
I remember wishing him a happy birthday on MySpace. The next day was devastating.
I love 💕
Are you talking about Dan or Paul? Dan died from mantle cell lymphoma.
Love The late greats here! Both were so underrated.
I played in a band called Tradewinds, and this was one of the most requested songs we did. I played saxes, so it fit our style great. And we do miss those artists who have left, too soon.

He was in the studio all night the night before and had not slept or eaten and he had a headache.

I assure you that he was not. He had been up all night the night before in the studio, no sleep, hadn’t eaten, and had a headache.
I've see this video before and for some reason it wouldn't save to my list and I'm gonna try it again....
