Ryan thank you for making such a great video, I’ve noticed that I’ve reached a skill limit that I can’t overcome because I’m used to playing in autopilot without taking into consideration every decision I make. It’s great to see your mindset, I look up to you a lot, keep the vids coming pls
This got posted on the /r/competitivehalo subreddit and it led me here... just want to echo what others have said. This is awesome, please do more of it
Great video! I'm low Onyx and I didn't realize how much I shouldn't be running around trying to frag out and I should just chill and play where I spawn more. Seriously hope you do more of these! If it's easier you can definetly always just dub over afterwards, it would still be incredibly helpful. I'd love to see an oddball and CTF match as well
Biggest take away for me is that I am in fact fully justified in laughing when three people roll up on me and I know I'm dead lol. Keep it up man, love the attitude.
Yes! Please keep these videos coming… exactly what players trying to get better need to see. Would be really nice to record your gameplay and then do voiceover commentary after so you’re not distracted during gameplay.
Thank you! I respect when pro players put the time to be it this kind of knowledge to the community. I ain’t trying to go pro, but I definitely am trying to rank up. Thank you
Love this keep it up this is the type of content that will keep people that only watch competitive and don’t actually compete in tourneys around longer I think good stuff man
I know you'll likely not see my comment but if you ever do, just know I appreciate you. You, alongside aPG are two of my favorite pros. Can you stream more often and make more of these videos? These hlps plebs like myself a ton. Thanks again, Ryan
Love the content. Several have commented that you could dub over, but I'd vote to keep the thought process flowing real time. Post hoc review is less raw and honest, and it's too hard to remember in all of these moments what you were actually thinking.
I love this breakdown. Gonna watch the rest of them now lol. What FOV do you play on? Out of curiosity, do you know any of the ways that pro players always seem to know all the latest movement tech before it’s ever on UA-cam or the general masses. I need dat. Anyway loved this :)
great vid. does anyone have any tips for me i feel like i’m always the player that ryanoob mentions at the end . which is the player that is rotating and creating opportunities. i feel like my teammates don’t take advantage of the opportunities. i for sure know that sometimes i make a dumb play due to my aggressive play style and don’t know where they are spawning . i for sure know i have to get better at spawns. any tips on how to get better at reading spawns and any other tips are appreciated

Best informational Halo content I’ve ever seen! This is what I’ve always wanted. The mindset of a pro. Thought processes.

Keep it up man, love the attitude.
Thank you for this. It is greatly appreciated.
Subbed and liked.
Super insightful video. Thanks and good luck at Anaheim!
Top tier content. Keep posting dude

I prefer this style better. The pressure of playing makes it better to know his thought process
Definitely enjoy this type of content.
This content is ELITE. More of these please
Hey Ryan, thanks for this series. It's super helpful. Your streams are great btw.

This was great. Love to see how you think during a play.
Please keep these coming! Trying to get into Onyx and this really helps
thanks for making these man, i remember you did something similar for halo 5 and those helped me out a lot too
Thanks for the new content Ryan! I hope to see more from you in this game
Love the content! Keep it up!
We need more of these please!
This is sick!
This was so helpful for me! Thank you!

this was very cool. might be easier just to comment on a replay tho
sick awareness
I've never ever had my shots register good as yours are in this game. I look up and you have 9 ping and that explains everything. Must be nice
Oh it was! Back home in Florida and 50 ping is my lowest. Never felt so useless.
8:56 disgusting nade, commenting for the timestamp to practice this

Just watch where your teammates are and where you are and think about what the open part of the map is and that's generally where they'll spawn
