I having a existing home 10x45=450 sqft single story. I want to construct one more floor. But there's no any existing column in ground floor. What should I do; either make new column in ground floor or not ?
You can construct by adding column from ground floor, or construct wall over existing wall , so that load will transfer through the wall to ground
Can we expand span between column above 15ft by using flat beams. If so how much and what are the specifications for beams
You may expend even more than 20 but you have to provide down beam. Whereas if your column span is minimum 18 feet you may apply hidden beam for resisting above load.

the beam size and steel spec changes according to the design there is no thumb rule for beam size and steel req.
also the span affects the depth of the beam

Till 3 floor reinforcement details.
Column Size should b minimum 9×12 and maximum 12×15.
Vertical we should place 4 bar of 16 mm and 2 supported bar of Dia 12 mm.
Ring should b 8mm Dia.
Spacing between two ring should b 150mm to 200 mm.
Hook length of ring should b 10 D.
Hook should b bend in 135 degree.
Bar should be cut in such a manner that lapping will be at L/2.
Concrete grade should b 1:1.5:3 but you want to get good workability along with strength use 1:2:3 Ratio of concrete.
Use opc cement for rcc work.
Use secondary steel bar for cutting material cost.

As per IS 13920 colunm size 9" not allowed. Minimum size 12". Misguiding wrong video. you should need to learn structural design before uploading wrong information.
