I have fallen in love with your channel! It looks so clean and beautiful, you have great recipes and ideas, and you take all of the guesswork out of everything! I so appreciate this, thank you!
Where have freezer meals been all my life? Thesecare the greatest. I'm going to add chicken breasts to all of them & I cannot wait to try "hoison" meatloaf. I love hoison sauce, so why not. Keep up the fantastic ideas. Love the one & done pan casserole dishes. 😁
Hope you enjoy! They definitely make life easier!
As a fellow Canadian you say onion perfectly! It is also cool to see brands that I recognize!
While “onion” has no “g” in it, I couldn’t possibly care less! Your presentation is a great as your food! Don’t change a thing!
LOL thank you!
I put down a layer of parchment paper first then add the foil so as not to touch the food directly.😘👍🏼🌺
Love your recipes!
Girl, you are amazing!
Aww thank you so much! :)
I make my own enchilada sauce. It is super fast and super easy. Once you try homemade sauce, you won't go back..
I live in the UK. Our supermarkets have frozen potatoes in various forms, frozen chips, frozen roast potatoes, frozen mash, frozen potato croquettes. And frozen potatoe waffles.
I think that the key to all of them is that they are par boiled then plunged into ice water to stop the cooking process.
I have tried it my self and frozen the potatoes on a greaseproof paper lined tray in a thin layer then once frozen you put them into a freezer bag or container.
And cook from frozen just like all the supermarket food
Love your vegan options!
So glad to hear this! I will definitely have more vegan content coming up in 2020 :)
I love your videos Denise! Great content 💕
Thank you so much, Tara!
Thank you for the great videos! I am wondering how many servings for each recipe? Is each suitable for at least 4 adults? I apologize if I missed that detail in the video. Thank you!
Thanks for all the recipes and inspiration again! I don’t cook with meat, but it did give me some ideas. Btw I’m Dutch but I don’t use a ‘G’ in onion, maybe that’s what people meant? Have a great day!
LOL and I didn't even realize I was saying it with a 'g' :D
Awesome recipes. I really need to get freezer safe glassware. 🤗
I really like the Ikea ones! Affordable and durable.
@@SweetPeasSaffron Thanks 👍
@@SweetPeasSaffron how did the ikea container in the oven?
You say onion just fine.
Sunflower Baby agreed
Lol thank you!
On the onion subject, I would say: UI 🧅 😜 keep on going, love from The Netherlands!
Un-yun. There is no g in it, so it’s definitely not ung-yun. However... I never would have said anything except for your asking. I’m much more interested in the fantastic content your offering me. THANK YOU!! Love your shirt today, btw.
Thank you so much, Leisel :)
I love your videos
Kisses from Brazil
I'm so glad! I 💛 Brazil!
I follow your youtube channel and have tried a couple of your recipes. When you freeze in the glass containers, do you ever heat in the oven? Because I am afraid that it could break up due to the change in temperature.
Hi Corinne! Thanks for following along :) When I freeze in glass, I let it thaw completely. At that point, I'd be comfortable to put the container into the oven. If I plan to place something from the freezer into the oven from frozen (like a lasagna), I make sure I freeze in a metal container. Hope this helps!
@@SweetPeasSaffron Great thanks so much for your help. I'll try this out. :-)
un-yun for onion; hwa-shin for hoisin.
Great hairstyle.
I'm hooked on you, Thnk you
First... lol what do I know... Yours sounds like un-young mine sounds like un-yon ... of course I am exaggerating sounds. You are lovely... don't change a thing!!
I think I'll buy minced garlic and pre-chopped, frozen, bell peppers, butternut squash and onions instead of all that chopping, but great ideas! Thanks! Oh, and here's how you say onion lol: dictionary.cambridge.org/us/pronunciation/english/onion
Yep did you see those recommendations in the video? Definitely good shortcuts.
@@SweetPeasSaffron I guess I totally missed them.
The ”Squash” you're using looks a lot like a pumpkin to me
Are you in Australia? If so, what you call a pumpkin, we call a squash. And what you call a squash we call zucchini. LOL!
@@SweetPeasSaffron Yes, we call it a butternut pumpkin...and as Boop has already mentioned your Bell peppers are what we call Capsicum. lol I love how we have different names for these things. Another Aussie here.
Love you recipes.. language teacher says: HOY- sin. hoy- SIN. the last is how you pronounce it. W0R.shesh sure sauce. ;.)
Idiosyncrasies of the English...it might be spelt Worcestershire but it's pronounced WOS-ter (WOS to rhyme with wood). Same with Leicester, it's just LESS-ter
On yun
Onion pronounced un-yon
I was house sitting for my sister this past weekend and made her 4 of these: the meatloaf, the thighs, the enchilada cass, & the one with the garbanzos. Her & her husband enjoyed the meatloaf and the thighs but looooooved the enchilada casserole. They haven’t tried the garbanzo one yet but at this rate, it’ll be a hit too. Thanks for taking the time to put this video up.
Wow! What a nice sister you are! Glad to hear you guys have enjoyed them :)
The way you say onion is fine. We all have our accents.
These look amazing. Great descriptive and short video!! Thanks for addressing the freezing potato issue;)
I don't have coconut sugar what's a good swap, regular sugar?
Brown sugar works great!
thanks for the modification of your spiralized sweet potato enchiladas stir fry 🤣😂 was wanting to substitute squash - but you know - made other things - until - you have a squash enchilada oven bake 😃🤗 guess what’s on the menu this week - perfect meal for snowy blowy 🇨🇦
Lol onion. That made me laugh. I think you said it correctly. Love all of these dishes. Thank you so much for helping us make life easier💗😘
LOL thank you! I say it the way I say it 🤷♀️
My wife loves your shirt in this video. Could you tell me where I can get one so I can surprise
her? Thank you in advance.
Thank you very much for sharing 🙏🏻
Hi and congratulations!
Found this in your Pin 7 meal plans. Loved the pin the ideas and the meals. :)
This one left me with a question:
Can Ifreeze leftovers?
The food was frozen raw, then it was cooked. Can it be frozen again?
Let's say I make those dishes for 4 perons but I live alone, unless I have people coming over, I will only eat two parts of the food in 3 days.
That leaves my with half, already cooked that I could put in individual containers and just heat up when I wanted (probably the following 2 weeck, one container each each).
This would strech my 5 meals fom that weeck in 15 new already cooked portions for the following 3 weeks.
If I can freeze them.
Can I?
Welcome, Maria! Yes, after you freeze the uncooked meal, cook it up, portion it out and freeze again. I consider cooking the meal as 'resetting' the clock if that makes sense. Hope you enjoy!
Lol you say it right... as far as usa standards go... un-yun.
🤣😂 no “g” in your Canadian onion but lots of flavour 🤣😂
I'm no cooking expert, but I think you need to blanch most vegetables before freezing to preserve flavor, texture and color.
I ♥️ your videos!! How did you got inspired by PORTUGUESE recipes
I'm not sure where the recipe inspiration came from to be honest! I love to try out cuisines from around the world (not to say this is at all authentic)
Adoro suas receitas, mas o que falta no youtube e ter a tecla traduzir áudio!Queria entender todos os detalhes dos temperos!👏👏👏👏👏👏👏😋
I wish I could speak Spanish!!
I understood, but I believe it is Portuguese.
My first language is Spanish. I’m pretty sure I say “onion” in a very different way 🤣
😂😂
