First off, SHE. HAS. CURLS. Second, even if she did have waves, they are a TYPE OF CURL. I think she has somewhere between 2c-3b. I have the same. It’s the least understood. Waves are loose curls. Therefore, if she has waves, she has curls 😊

I have 2c and if one of my hairs happens to fall on the counter and I miss it, and it lands in a bit of water or is a damp, it will dry in a perfect circle.
My hair is more 2c than yours and I still call my hair curly because I have some 3a spirals, unfortunately this hair type isn’t really online I struggle finding content to help with my hair journey.
I love my ancestors but they did me dirty cause I have S and Z waves, and my baby hairs coil naturally. But my hair could never hold a curl or be straight. She’ll always be wavy 🥲
