2024 School of Science Advanced Degree Ceremony

This ceremony was for the School of Science advanced degree candidates; names of participating graduates were announced and hoods were presented to Doctoral candidates at this ceremony. The keynote address was given by Lydia Villa-Komaroff PhD ’75, who was one of the early group of scientists who first used the ability to join DNA from animals to DNA from bacteria to make useful proteins and to study biological processes and human diseases, including diabetes.
