Friendship always should be non negotiable, as is trust. I can see the trauma bond as a pattern but not one I was prepared to engage in. Friendship always should be non negotiable, as is trust. I can see the trauma bond as a pattern but not one I was prepared to engage in. Having just come from a trauma bonded relationship, but when taught this as a child, it can be a difficult pattern to break and possibly driven by the lower base nature or "primal instinct", as in passion(?) combined with trauma.
