Among the category of melee turrets we currently have Tesla, Isida, Firebird and Freeze. And this order I mentioned is the same order from the turret that does the most damage to the one that does the least damage.
So taking that into consideration Freeze is the least benefited melee turret. Tesla has more range like Isida (20 meters), can also attack from farther with his electric balls, does a lot of damage, and has powerful augments like Pulsar. Isida has more distance as well and has the Vampire Nanobot augment. Firebird has the burning damage, it also has the higher base damage and its "Corrosive Mix" version does 10% more damage than the Freeze version.
Freeze has Jamming mix which is considered to be one of the most powerful augments, and a lot of other legendary augments.
@@BabiTankiOnline Firebird has the same augment and does more damage. There is no middle ground for stat augment, either they work and kill the enemy, or they are immune and make the effect unusable. Also in a battle there are always 1 or 2 that are not affected by the stat, and if they are strong it will be a problem. The only infallible stat augment is called 'Pulsar'.

You forgot to mention that between the years 2019-2020 freeze got the worse update he could have get the freeze could no longer freeze the turret of the enemy only the hull,thats the whole point of freeze to freeze and they took that away from him what an absolute idiots those programers like they killed the whole game

Current version of freeze doesn’t take role as “Freeze”
You can shoot freeze player easily even when you’re fully frozen.
I used to enjoy playing with Freeze and light hull by taking the advantages of the effect.
It’s still one of my favorite turrets now though.
Freezing is probably one of the worst status effects cuz of the nerfs .-.
The freezing effect of smoky hammer augments are even better than freeze XD

Then your opponent puts up the defensive anti-jamming augment and ends your game...
Not everybody has Jamming immunity. I rarely see that augment used

The best augments are still the ones that increase damage, as they are harder to counter.
