Unfortunately Gulmohar is not a native tree to India. It has got short roots and unfortunately offers less advantages ecologically. Palash (native) could be an alternative.

Gulmohar branches r very fragile , in places where storms r common like in West Bengal it is risky as it's branches break in storm easily. Otherwise the tree is very good
