I was thinking the same But I’m sure the players did say sorry or my badd... But u can’t see their mouths movin nor hear them so U assume everybody was just rude about it.
I'm pretty sure standing on the sidelines of an NFL game is "at your own risk". That said, we have no way of knowing what the players say after a collision.
They should, but I think most of it is they are trained to hustle back to the ball at all times when on the field. Even when I was a kid playing that's how every coach I had made us do practice. Plus hitting and getting hit is another day in the office for them so I think the only thing going through their mind when they crash into somebody is "ok get up get back to the huddle". Besides they got medical staff and cameras up the ass. There's no way someone would get hit and nobody would notice. So that's probably another reason they don't check. Not that they don't care so much as it is not their job. It's the medic's job.
Especially at the very end. He knocked the dude down a second time just after he got help to stand back up. Although thats right when the video ended so maybe he apologized. Hopefully he did because that was a little messed up.
My question: when people- coaches, cheerleaders, press corp etc. See a guy- a professional NFL football player that weighs 220 - 250 lbs that can bench press 225 lbs 15 to 20 times- is all muscle & can run the 40 yard dash in under 5.0 seconds. And people on the sidelines see this coming & THEY DON'T MOVE OUT OF THE WAY?! People? On the sidelines...... when you see this coming towards you. GTF OUT OF THE WAY- or you're going to get hurt. DUH!
I was going to come down to the comment section about half way through the video to say that many of these players didn't even look back at the poor person they ran into let alone apologize. But I was glad to see that everybody else was sharing the same sentiment that I felt and saw. Thumbs up to everybody who had these people's backs even when the players didn't!
I agree and disagree. They know to watch out. Players without the ball are allowed to go over the line. They have to have one thing on their minds at all times. Winning the game. If I got tackled I wouldn't expect an apology. That being said, if I was a player and the game was over and I found out that I took someone out, I would do my best to apologize and make sure they are okay. Although there is one issue, giving an apology could be seen as an admission of guilt and you might be able to get sued when normally you can't.
Well you don’t have time to do anything. You have 40 seconds from when you go out to when the play needs to be called. Helping someone up, making sure their ok, and apologizing takes to long. By the time you’re done the teams gonna be on the line and about to snap the ball.
RD yeah. I mean in a loud stadium like these they can at least give a pat on their back to show they saw what they did that can easily be seen by people and interpreted as “I’m sorry for knocking into you, but I have to leave you hear, because I have an important game to play right here.” 😂🤗

Amazing how sooo many of these players made no effort to see if the people they hit were alright. If I hit someone that hard there would be no way I could just walk away without seeing if they were alright. Even if it only was just a quick check its better than nothing.
@@Theorangecrushgamer Common courtesy there big guy, it takes two seconds to apologize as you're running back on field, a lot of these people's job is to watch the crowd as well.
1:25 this proves how generous people still live in this world. Medical assistant on the other team rushes to check on the opposite teams player. That right there is not a cardinals worker. That is a human being. There’s not many left.
Sad man they straight trucking people and can't even help them up. I know its on accident but damn these dudes making millions and don't have no respect. Why I'm not even mad NBA players get paid double and triple they have so much more class than NFL players.
NFL players (and it is just a game) believe themselves to be something special. Most have the IQ of a gold fish; and even fewer have any sense of civility or manners. Of course to apologize they would have to be able to speak English, which precludes about 98 percent of them.
I get so upset when I see people knock someone down AND DON’T HELP THEM UP. It takes less than 10 seconds to ask someone if there ok and to help them up.
Nah dude, Witten was heading right for her. Even a graze from his shoulder, a big guy like him, would have sent her down, so he guided her down to pad the landing so to speak.
Pretty sure he was trying to stop his fall, and instinctively grabbed anything that would help. Turns out cheerleaders don't slow you down very much though.
My Dad covered the NFL as a sideline reporter in the late 60's to mid 70's. He was on the sidelines at the Cotton Bowl (Texas Stadium had not been built yet) as the Cowboys were taking on the rival Washington Redskins. You older Cowboy fans will remember #22 Bob Hayes. On the particular play Dad got hit, Bob Hayes had caught a pass in the flats from Don Meredith and was sprinting down the sidelines when one of the Redskin defenders finally shoved him out of bounds directly into my Dad who was sent head over heels. Dad used to love to tell this story and it always ended the same way, but the more he told it, the further he got knocked down the field. He was proud to have taken a hit from an NFL player and survive.
Tony Romo was one of the most underrated Quarterbacks I've seen play.I enjoy even watching his Commercials too.Tony Romo is a Great Human Being also.I heard stories of his Kindness too
My fav thing about the first one is,that you have the chain gang and officials and camera man and sound guy right there and they all know full well the cheerleaders are behind them and they all scatter like crazy is like "every man and woman for themselves" 🤣🤣🤣
There’s no way he didn’t have to go to the hospital after that hit. He’s definitely gonna have some issue... maybe not in that moment, but that was probably the worst hit.
Yeah. None of them apologized. I know they have to get back on the field and get ready for the next play, but take atleast a second to apologize and go
The last clip is the best. Jets #30 is on his own side and STILL rudely busts through the guy trying to help the coach up which knocks the coach down again. Daaang.
I've worked security at Candlestick before the 49ers relocated. When you're on the field, you need to be facing the stands to prevent anyone from jumping onto the field and to point out anyone doing something they shouldn't. The problem is that you get so wrapped up in checking things that you sometimes don't even notice guys coming towards you until it's too late. I myself missed being taken out by Frank Gore by like six inches. I definitely paid a lot more attention to my surroundings after that moment
SonicGlitchmaster1 its funny how when I was at the 49ers vs Vikings opener the security was wearing red this time for the season, and some of the fans in the line to go through the doors were joking, the one security guy said I bleed purple man
Elisa Guevara uhhh nooooo noo wee not all. The same sooo thxxxx i have manners i dont even burp in public or around other people or interupt or tell someone to shut up
I'm glad to see that many, actually most of the comments here share my same thoughts when it comes to these collision videos. Not all of them mind you, but too many of them. While it's understandable that if you are anywhere on or near the sidelines then you should expect that there is a chance that you could possibly be "sidelined" by a player. And in fact you actually deserve it if you are there and not paying attention. Especially in there cases i will openly laugh and mock anyone who gets creamed by a player because they are too busy on their phones or some other form of distraction that they knowingly place in themselves. In fact, in these cases i would actively seeking out those people who have such little respect as to what's going on around then that they intentionally become distracted in the middle of game play. That being said, it doesn't mean that the players have to be indifferent a**holes about these collisions. I wouldn't even care if there was no apology per se. Because I don't think an apology is necessary in terms of the fact that as i said, they know the risks of standing there in the first place. But some of these assclowns don't even check to see if the person is okay, and some of them act as though it never even happened in the first place. Like they immediately turn their backs to the situation. Now again, i wouldn't even blame them if they chose not to help someone back up, and i can Completely understand wanting, and in some cases Needing, to get back on the field in order to set up the next play. However, no referee in their right mind is going to be so much of a giant dickhead that they will call a delay of game because a player chooses to take a few seconds to check to see that the person is, well hell conscious and/or still breathing. I mean we're taking about a player who can weigh many many pounds and who wear tons of padding to avoid injury when they collide with other players with the intensity that has on many occasions been compared to that of a "freight train" or a "Mack truck." Take that and apply it to a much smaller more frail woman (or man) or even a child ffs and you could easily cause a multitude of injuries. Heck, it would not be an exaggeration to say that you could kill someone with that kind of force, particularly with a neck injury. At the very least they could break any number of bones, including the spine, resulting in some kind of paralysis. Yet, many of these d*ckheads immediately turn their backs to the person they pummel, and run right back out into the field as if nothing ever happened. I'd like to see what their Mom's had to say about this, lol.
Hope yall enjoy. Also let me know what moments I can include for part 2. NFL Films made a good video on this topic if you wanna check it out: ua-cam.com/video/zUVMTkn0yEw/v-deo.html

It was Jason Witten, one of the greatest tight ends to play the game. I'm a straight dude, but I'd be happy if I got taken down by Witten!
Instinct.
Ossie Mc better than him crushing her legs I guess. I think Witten didn’t think was going fall down, but near he lost his balance and knew he was going to fall over
Facts
His face mask went in her ass 😂
Osweiler nailing that guy in the head with the ball is the funniest shit I've ever seen. The guy was damn near next to the stands so he assumed he was safe, and he got absolutely clobbered 🤣🤣🤣
You think the players could have the common decency to either help the person up or at least check on them. At the very least LOOK at them lying on the ground!
They're too up their own asses to care about anyone else's
No shit man. I get that these guys are hauling ass and don't have the time to stop, but for fucks sake, at least have the courtesy to check on the person. Especially that Vikings player that literally went helmet to head on that photographer.
Bl0odredsandman
They usually apologize during timeouts or after the game buddy.
Amazing how sooo many of these players made no effort to see if the people they hit were alright. If I hit someone that hard there would be no way I could just walk away without seeing if they were alright. Even if it only was just a quick check its better than nothing.
Most of the players can't even say sorry? Or even help them up? They think they're that cool and rich to not say anything?
Seems like it
Seeing how if you're on the sideline you should watch your surroundings also it isn't the one who gets pushed outs fault, its the defenders fault.
@@Theorangecrushgamer Common courtesy there big guy, it takes two seconds to apologize as you're running back on field, a lot of these people's job is to watch the crowd as well.

Generally, if it's right in front of them, a trainer will provide care or keep them from moving until their own medical team can get across the field.

Joshua Mullins bro I was just about to text that#youonthemoney they have no respect
NFL players (and it is just a game) believe themselves to be something special. Most have the IQ of a gold fish; and even fewer have any sense of civility or manners. Of course to apologize they would have to be able to speak English, which precludes about 98 percent of them.
And while you help them up the offense snap the ball and you get called for offsides
Edsmaureen They can all speak English dumbass

I get so upset when I see people knock someone down AND DON’T HELP THEM UP. It takes less than 10 seconds to ask someone if there ok and to help them up.
Anyone else notice how on that first one... he would not have taken that cheerleader down of he had not reached for her???
;)
Nah dude, Witten was heading right for her. Even a graze from his shoulder, a big guy like him, would have sent her down, so he guided her down to pad the landing so to speak.
Pretty sure he was trying to stop his fall, and instinctively grabbed anything that would help. Turns out cheerleaders don't slow you down very much though.
He would've knocked her down face first with his shoulder if he didn't use his right arm to grab her to fall onto him.
Had he not grabbed her he might have clipped her legs and broken a bone instead of taking his momentum with her and taking the shock himself.

2:58 what's more hilarious is he has the word *safe* on the back of his shirt.
Not one player even tried to help anyone who got hurt or knocked down. And their getting payed millions lmao what a joke.

2:45 got destroyed. maybe a little more awareness. and dude didnt even check on him lol
they have to keep their back to the field
I've worked security at Candlestick before the 49ers relocated. When you're on the field, you need to be facing the stands to prevent anyone from jumping onto the field and to point out anyone doing something they shouldn't. The problem is that you get so wrapped up in checking things that you sometimes don't even notice guys coming towards you until it's too late. I myself missed being taken out by Frank Gore by like six inches. I definitely paid a lot more attention to my surroundings after that moment
Darren Gwin it’s ironic that his shirt says SAFE
SonicGlitchmaster1 its funny how when I was at the 49ers vs Vikings opener the security was wearing red this time for the season, and some of the fans in the line to go through the doors were joking, the one security guy said I bleed purple man

Just name this "Adults get bodied and not apologize"
