6 Year Old Hits Her FIRST JUMP LINE In Switzerland

- To say this little girl never ceases to amaze us is an understatement. Since we have been in Verbier all Cash has wanted to do is hit the terrain park and ride fast.
Once we got there she didn’t want to leave. This four jump line was a new experience for Cash & Whitney. We watched her hit this thing over and over again all day continuously getting braver and braver with each one. Once she realized that landing in transition is much softer of a landing, her speed into the jumps started increasing.
She inspires both of us each day to keep pushing our limits and to try new things. So we thought there was no better way to celebrate International Woman’s Day by showing how powerful women are at any age!
If you listen closely you can hear Whitney stomp her jumps right behind Cash 🙌🏻

Money has nothing to do with it anyway, what’s the difference between this and encouraging a kid doing anything they enjoy, could be riding a bike, drawing, playing an instrument or anything they are into. It makes a huge difference to their life and anyone can do it for free.

26 here, started skating when I was 23 and I fell on my ass and back so many times going down ramps that I wanted to give up but my friend kept encouraging me to keep trying to push myself. I felt like a new person when I went down a story high ramp. She is definitely a huge inspiration, she’s rockin it 🤟

@𝓢𝓱𝓮𝓮𝓹𝓼𝓱𝓮𝓮𝓹 𝓝𝓮𝓵𝓵𝔂 𝓑𝓪𝓪 Speed check - Put in a quick heel or toe edge slide to slow down and scrub some speed without turning your snowboard. Basically, from my understanding, it's when you check your speed before a big jump to make sure you coast and clear over. She was going a little fast, so she was worried she might need to slow down.
@Lily Kermit the frog The speed check - unlike a long drawn out carve, the speed check uses counter rotation, meaning your board turns the opposite way of your shoulders, with a quick kick of the back foot to “check your speed,” i.e. cut a little speed on the way up to a feature without dramatically altering your line in.
This is essential because park features usually require getting the speed perfect. You can come in with some extra heat and cut speed at the last minute.
Quick sliding turns on the way up to a box, rail or jump to adjust your speed last minute
Just some extra info to help broaden the term for ya'll.

I love how you're teaching her to feel capable of facing her fears. You could tell she was nervous as she headed for the first jump, and when you celebrated at the end, she seemed proud of her accomplishment. You are raising a confident child.

I just love her nonchalant attitude, like she's so calm but you can tell she was nervous. I've seen the other vids and it's amazing how you reassure her before, during and after every challenge. She falls you teach her how to evaluate her injuries and go through those emotions. You don't need to hear it from me but you guys are doing such an amazing job at raising her. It's amazing to see

They always reimburse her positive positivity whenever she does well and that’s a good thing because it makes her to straightforward and that’s a good thing or a parent should do this to the kids and I see something good and they excel at it.
