Fishing for Trout in the South Island of New Zealand - Autumn 2023

Today I am out on the Waimakariri river in search of some rainbow or brown trout. It was a pretty windy day and this caused some issues with the audio, apologies for the wind noise. It was fairly tough going on the river with a lot of smaller braids and not a lot of decent holding water. I managed to land a few trout and lost a few too.
