@@LeilaAtaya You are so very welcome, I was literally painting a logo while listening to you, and it was so relaxing that it made my art process so smooth.
as u mentioned about your accent in one of your comments: accent is like a sound signature of a person, never be ashamed of it, like we should never be ashamed of our writing signature. makes u unique :) (tak shto, vishe nos :D )
I think a good way to use watercolour pencils is to draw with them when you are in "plein air" and then apply water in the studio. Can you get Derwent Inktense pencils in the Land of the Long White Cloud? They are expensive but you'll love them, really rich colours.
I haven't come across them. I'll check them out if I do. I personally always gravitate towards the watercolour paint myself, I think it's the influence of my classical/academic studying background. But it can be so relaxing and fun to use w/c pencils on smaller works. I remember trying water-soluble pencils many years ago and they were so bad, no colour pay off at all but these days so many companies make amazing products!
@@LeilaAtaya I tried to look it up, however couldn't really find the answer. Krap in Dutch would translate to Tight and Lak is lacquer paint. Krap could also mean poor/shabby in old dutch, and I've read that (Old) kraplak fades away faster than other reds, so maybe it was seen as cheap lacquer . But it could have a totally different meaning, if it's old Dutch. Maybe it's German anyways. haha Thanks for the video! Amazing and relaxed!
@sa haha you actually looked into it !! Yes it could be what you pointed out. It’s not the best colour in terms of colour fastness. I couldn’t find anything on it in Russian. 😄
Purple is very interesting, It has so many different associations in history from being royal, heavenly, spiritual to the colour of death. I guess it might also depend on the shade as well :)
You are the best, one day your channel will be one of the popular ones.
Thank you so much :)

When Leila whispers, it's the most lethal tranquilizer for me. Softly speaking 64 seconds. Whispering 6 seconds and I'm off to wonderland.
Wow really! I'm glad it works :)

28:23 kraplak sounds really Dutch. Not sure whether or not it's Dutch.
Edit: Probably not originally.
The word could definitely be borrowed from Dutch or German. It really sounds it doesn’t it. 🤔❤️

Good call!👍💗
