I'm back to using my DSLR setup with dragonframe, and I think I'm starting to get the hang of the camera settings. Comparing these shots to the Omega Supreme ones and especially the Astrotrain ones it's like night and day. let me know what you think! (excuse the dust spots though. I didn't notice them until after I started editing. I need to save up some coin to send the lens off to be dismantled and factory cleaned as it was used and the inside of it is filthy)

Grapple is among the few ER figures I'm thinking of getting for sure for how fun he looks especially if he repainted into Hauler for Selects. Also I do relate to how one would want to see the characters they grew up with or at least grew to love later on as they're depicted on a show as much as possible given as someone who grew up with BW I get told by some people on how there's no need to revist them for Generations since they're good enough as they are in the original BW line despite the fact on how both T30 and the MP BW figures have proven otherwise. So it's nice to see your favorite characters get this treatment at the end.
That bit where Hoist throws Grapple was fantastic. Comedic and incredibly well animated. I don't know if that's says something about the articulation of the figures or your skill as an animator. Great job!

That opening skit with the crane game from Kirby's Adventure really hit me because I did a Let's Play of that game on my own UA-cam channel a while ago, and I remembered hating that mini-game. Nice review. Always a pleasure to watch your work. If you have T30's Hoist you can remove the hook from his tow rod and attach it to the rear little peg at the end of his towing harness.

Great to see you back reviewing. Excellent stop motion and Grapple tapping Hoist on the shoulder was very funny. Along with, "suspending a corpse above the ground". Personally, I can't get past the small size of Grapple. I base my entire collection on vehicle scale which has been difficult on occasion but always rewarding so I'm happy with Masterpiece Grapple along with CHUG Grapple as Hauler. Hoist looks fantastic and I'll definitely pick him up though I'll never part with the G1 toy which has a timeless quality. Again, great review. I look forward to your next video.
15:51 there is a little silver piece on the back of the Grapple that you didn’t see right. It is removed to form a megaman cannon just like the Trailbreaker and Inferno had!

I'm guessing that you got away with the whole peg problem on Grapple. Or did you modify them ever so slightly just to make them fit with out snapping off when converting back to bot mode? I had to return and order a second Grapple just for that problem, one of the pegs got stuck and snapped off when I tried to unpeg his leg from his head, now that grapple half the peg stuck in his foot. This time though, I am going to be careful of him, sand/trim the pegs and test, test, test! All in all, I am glad you managed to get away with this problem (if you did). btw: I found 16:59 to be the funniest and most splendidly animated part of the video. Well done! 10/10, would watch it again.
Grapples hook _can_ actually hold stuff, specifically A.I.R. system stuff like parts of Ironworks, the shield battlemasters, ER Primes trailer door shield, _and that part of Hoist you bloody talked about right after_
The system is actually quite fun but I watched Dr.Lockdowns review of earthrise Astrotrain and the platform looked a bit floppy. I still have some hope in this system tho.

Great video and I was a kid of the 80's myself and Yes I agree these new earthrise figures, I have both of these guys and wheeljack and cliffjumper and leader class astrotrain which I just picked up yesterday at Walmart here in Ancaster Ontario Canada. They look great which I'm going to keep them in the package.

Got grapple and hoist on the way,they were listed together online for $49.99.They we're two of the first I owned around 84/85 and from what I've seen and heard earthrise grapple is a lot like g1 grapple so I hope it brings back some 35 yr old memories.
Great review dude! I just recently got them both myself and I’m very pleased. I do have the same nitpick about Hoist’s arm panels but it doesn’t break the figure for me at all but if I did have to choose between, I think Grapple wins. I do have the previous HuntForDecepticons Grapple you showed and while its size is better for vehicle mode to do some scaling, I do think Earthrise robot mode is astounding. Really pops with that orange too when thrown in with the other Siege/Earthrise
