Work Marathon 2018: Mark Boyle and James Suzman in conversation, Primitive Affluence

Mark Boyle is the bestselling author of three books, which have been translated into over twenty languages. A former businessman, he has lived entirely without money for three years. Dr James Suzman is an anthropologist and photographer who has been documenting the encounter of the Kalahari Bushmen with modernity for more than 25 years. He is the author of Affluence Without Abundance.
The 2018 Work Marathon invited artists, sociologists, anthropologists, writers, musicians, architects, scientists and philosophers to address the complex and timely questions of work, labour, automation and leisure.
