Overall this is a good-looking, highly functional classic ready for some fun summer cruising.
Fun 1970 Cadillac DeVille Convertible for sale delivered new at Martin Cadillac in Los Angeles finished in black with a black interior and top. This two-owner Cadillac has spent its entire life in the Hollywood area cruising the Sunset Strip. It includes original books, manuals, and many of its registration cards dating back to the 1970s. I purchased this classic Cadillac from the second owner who bought it in 1972.
The car was stripped and repainted several years ago in its original black paint but has developed some checking and flaws over the years that are noticeable up close making it a "good 10-footer". A brand new top was just installed and goes up and down easily. Overall this is a nice-looking driver-quality car ready to enjoy as-is.
The 472 cu in 7.7L OHV V8 was rebuilt and runs beautifully with just around 2,000 miles on it along with its rebuilt TH400 automatic transmission which shifts beautifully. The braking and suspension are tight and responsive and the car is very nice and easy to drive.
The inside is comfortable and looks nice with excellent leather, door panels, dash, and carpeting. All gauges and switches are in good operating condition and the heater is in good working condition. The man I purchased the car from stated that he completely rebuilt the air conditioning system several years ago it is currently not blowing cold indicating that it probably wouldn't take too much to get it going again if someone chose to. Otherwise, all systems work well including the radio, lights, wipers, etc.

Nice, I checked out a 66 Eldorado yesterday, but I wasn't concerned over price.. I passed on it.. needed interior, engine compartment was a mess. Just too much to do..
