I absolutely love this format. It doesn't feel overproduced, which is something I find quite odd in other types of vlogs. It's really nice to see you do these things and how you structure your days, keep it going!
Agree, I like how much he complains. feels relatable. I only feel good the next morning after a workout for some reason, complain the entire time I’m working out and blame myself for feeling like shit
These are so motivating. So much so that after watching your first marathon video I decided to quit smoking cigarettes and start running. 3 weeks without a cig and up to 6 mile jogs 5×'s a wk. Thats Cody. This was a game changer for me.
Check out Cody's main channel and other secondary channel. Cody Ko: Mostly comedy, reactions, and more "high" production value. Cody & Ko: Kinda like this channel but for comedy and some experimental stuff he does. Highly recommend giving it a chance.
Been getting healthy recently and started running. Sober over 4 months. Really love that Cody has started this. Him talking about his relationship with alcohol was very important to me. Huge motivation. Appreciate you Cody.
Man that intro never fails to make me laugh, it's so unexpected Side note: these videos have been really motivating, probably the most motivating stuff I've ever seen (and i've seen a ton), probably because we get to see the real life struggles, not just end results and people giving tips and tricks
genuinely loved seeing cody get all big bro jealous of his younger sister; "what about your little boy..." I'm here for the genuine down to earth content
i just gotta say how genuine and inspiring all this is. My fave is that you just state your times and dont use any comparison or metric to say if its good or not, because youre just holding yourself to your own personal progress. love it. keep at it man im gonna have to start the concept of my own approach to my first marathon
I’m now obsessed with these videos, the format is perfect don’t change a thing. I just sprained my ankle while training for my first 10k and had to pull out of the race, so this content is keeping me motivated to get back to it when i’m healed. love u man
Sooooooo happy to hear Cody say he's taking rest days! His training is amazing and inspiring, but definitely made me a little concerned for his body, so I'm so relieved to hear he's listening to it
Also I gotta say - I really appreciate the fact that you're so open to the learning process, and that you're letting yourself discover how this actually works by trying and seeing for yourself, instead of adopting some external mindset from the get go. Respect.
I've also, unfortunately, run into that issue before. The tracks have probably warped slightly so the locomotive isn't able to run seamlessly from track to track. I tried to fix it by bending them but you might need to replace them altogether. Hope this helps and best of luck with the full railroad and winter wonderland scene! (Ready in time for Christmas I hope!) 🚆🛤
You honestly motivated me to get back into Jiujitsu with a video you made months ago on your main channel. Thank you. I've been trainign 4-5 days a week and its been so good for my mental health. Even your comedy videos genuinely make a real impact on lives and I'm loving this channel too watching your journey. Thank you!
I’m training for a half marathon and this channel is so perfect! It’s nice to see the daily realities/struggles of training consistently..but you eventually hit a stride and it’s so motivating!
You've got such a good vibe doing things you don't feel like doing but just going for it. Really inspirational but not in a "don't be a wuss" way like a lot of fitness influencers. Thanks man!
Love these videos, Cody! I just ran my first official 10k race yesterday. Finished at 48:55 with an average pace of 7:52. It’s awesome to see one of my favorite creators be into something that I’m into and to have them share their experiences. I started running a little over a year ago, and I lost 60 pounds. Man, I love it! It’s because of your ultra marathon video and these that have inspired me to sign up for a half-marathon in May. I also completely agree with your points about treadmill running. May be a little more boring, but I enjoy it because it’s easier on my body, and it really is meditative in a way. I just focus on the music that I’m listening to, and I go. Keep it up man! Looking forward to watching you continue your journey to the iron man challenge!
If you haven’t already I recommend training at a pool with someone who can teach you some drills! It will remove the “panicky” feeling you get in the ocean. Good luck and you’ve inspired me to start swimming again!
Damn 5 years, congrats guys. It’s crazy, I remember when you first started dating and Cody would talk about your dates on his solo podcast, time flies.
At around 7min in is exactly how I am now. Realized today I’ve trained for nearly 2 weeks straight just because I’ve been enjoying this new journey so much. But need to pull back and take some rest to keep myself healthy and not burnout like you said. Also had a fat dominos pizza last night. Loving these videos man. Glad to know you’re kind of just doing this out of pure enjoyment and your competitive spirit since I can resonate with that.
This channel helps me so much. I started my cut/caloric deficit and training regiment around the time you posted the first video and seeing your training updates helps keep me going through my training.
Love seeing you get into Ironman training! Definitely recommend getting a coach if you can because it helps regulate your training and forces you to take rest days. Can’t wait to see more content!
I really love these. Currently training for the NYC Marathon and these videos are just really inspiring me to push and focus on training, even with this being my 7th marathon.
This channel is so dope- you’ve 100% given me the motivation to start running long distance!! Ran 10 miles straight for the first time yesterday, feeling good hoping to continue and work up to running more. Seeing your videos and hearing your thoughts/ approach towards it all is a big help. Thanks Cody 🫶🏽
Absolutely loving this channel, I’m fascinated by your process and happy to hear all the details about how you’re improving!! These are super fun to watch as someone who is starting to dip their toe into interval running, seeing someone who I consider relatable achieving so much makes me feel like I could do that too in the future :) I also really relate to what you said about your natural tendency to adopt an all-or-nothing mindset about your passions! I am just now learning how to hold myself back just enough to avoid overworking myself but also not so much that I don’t reap the full benefits from whatever activity I’m doing. For me it’s all about keeping it fun and interesting however I can lol. I admire your self-awareness and dedication to keeping this up as long as you can and also taking care of yourself! Please keep this channel going, it’s really great!!
Cody I absolutely love this - as well as this being a really great and inspiring about your running journey, idk something about seeing someone fitting looking after themself into their day, with similar energy patterns to me is like so good ?? Watching these has made me remember that getting up early and doing stuff made me feel great and I can actually look after myself 😂 I’ve started couch to 5k and getting up at 6 again thanks to you and feel so great 🫡💕
I love this series. I've always been super active and outdoorsy and seeing one of my fave UA-camrs doing it is so motivating, especially as I've fallen out of it recently.
i love these videos, super cool to follow you along your journey! thanks for letting us into this part of your life cody! feeling very motivated to commit to those healthy habits while also being okay with listening to my body and taking days off 👍🏼 keep it up!
i’m so glad you started making these Cody. they’re so real, and motivating. you’ve helped motivate me into getting active again after too long of a break from exercising. love everything that you’re doing. keep it up, can’t wait to see you accomplish iron man and more!!
I love these videos!! They are so motivating and inspiring! I also like that you show what you eat and how you balance the training with daily life tasks
Cody thank you so much for posting your progress. These videos are very motivating and I always do what I am putting off after watching this channel; it feels very good. I wish you the best of luck for this decade, and I hope you continue making these.
Every time I have ridden my bike since ur last video I am shocked that you think humans are meant to swim but not cycle, every single time swimming is the most torturous thing I put myself through and yet cycling is a joy
I AM OBSESSED. Nah seriously, I'm enjoying these videos so much. I signed up to my second marathon in six months and this is giving me so much motivation. I also think I'm an all-or-nothing type person and all I'm thinking about every day rn is running so the timing is perfect for me. Thanks Cody.
i hurt my back about a month and a half ago and i’ve been out of my routine bc of it. i was feeling strong and in good shape but got super discouraged as i’m healing - watching this channel has motivated me again for when i can get back into it!
I honestly really like this channel. I'm not even training but I'm trying to lose some weight and Cody's keeping me motivated. Would love to see more Cody trains 🚂
Pls keep doing this I am holding my self accountable daily knowing you be training the way you do; I love coming back from the gym and eat my meals watching you on a Monday night then getting motivation to go on a quick 2 mile walk to end the night!❤ luv all that you do! Keep it up Cody!l🎉
Cody you are glowing, your skin looks so good!! I am absolutely loving these videos. I’m Training for my favorite trail race and these videos are so motivating and relatable. Much love
Absolutely loving this content! You’re on of my favorite content creators bringing and your humor with the “idk what I’m doing but I’m gonna do it” is awesome
Thanks Cody. Been off alcohol since a month, eating healthy and prepping for my first half marathon. Always thought I’d do this “sometime in the future”, but watching this made me realise that the best time is now. More power to you. ❤️ P.S: Would be awesome if you could share your meal prep / what you eat etc
I just looked up your training channel earlier today to see if you had posted something and was bummed to see nothing new so this is perfect !! thanks Cody! these videos are great!!
love this channel Cody. It’s crazy that you really thought people wouldn’t care about this enough to put it on your main channel. Super inspiring and down to earth. Love how you admit when you’re not the best at something but say that you will get better and that’s all that matters. Love seeing a different part of your life and the editing is something new and fun that i really enjoy with this type of video. Keep it up Cody been a fan for years
It’s so cool you have a family who does all this kind of stuff together, I’m encouraging my family to do a 5k together in December. Not much but it’s a start.
Love these videos, so rad! I’m actually right in the middle of training for my first Ironman in November. That heat wave that came through was no freaking joke. Keep it up man!
Really loving these videos. When you uploaded your first one I felt inspired to start a workout routine, I’ve been getting up at 5:45 every morning and working out! Which is a big deal for me because I’ve never ever been a person who works out lmao
I've been going through a tough time since the start of the pandemic and even dropped out of college, but these videos have motivated me to be more active. I moved back to my college town and recently bought a used road bike in order to start cycling around and enjoy the outdoors. Great videos, thanks for posting!
It’s a great method to get ur mental state at the end of the race ready. I did cross country in hs and my coaches would push us to “sprint” the last sets. Ur body is gonna feel awful but you’ll always have that mentality that ur body has done this before and that will carry you to the finish line.
This video and this channel are epic (!!!!!), brings me back to the hawaii vlog energy. Love seeing what you're up to outside of training too, you can make any event or task entertaining. You're awesome & tell kelsey and the animals I say hi
i absolutely love these vlogs. i used to do competitive cross county but then got extremely burnt out and didnt do any fitness for a solid 3 years, now im getting back into it again and these videos are just so motivating, it makes me want to train for something too1
Hey Cody! Just wanted to say keep these video's up. After seeing your video I decided to sign up for a 5k in Febuary, I live a pretty sedentary life so this is a big hurdle for me to complete. These video's are helping me stay on track, much love
You may already be aware of the couch to 5K app but I suggest it if you need a training plan. I really like that you can track your progress. Good luck and have fun!
Very motivational, love the content. Got me to finally sign up for this gym near my new apartment I’d been procrastinating to go to. Got a good workout in and even ran on the treadmill and enjoyed it for the first time 😳
Truly love this content, makes me motivated and it gives me new ideas of how I can move in different ways to feel better in my day to day life, well done Cody :D and thank you for these videos!!
yoo! love this channel it has helped me get back into training super out of shape lol but ran a cheeky 2 miles today and yesterday and feel pretty swag
Love the videos, really inspiring me to try running! Would love to see some more post workout clips about how you're feeling. I find that after a run I'm like on the floor dead for like 10 minutes

I absolutely love this format. It doesn't feel overproduced, which is something I find quite odd in other types of vlogs. It's really nice to see you do these things and how you structure your days, keep it going!
idk if it's just me but u have motivated me more than any other fitness coach 😭😭
Agree, I like how much he complains. feels relatable. I only feel good the next morning after a workout for some reason, complain the entire time I’m working out and blame myself for feeling like shit
ME TOO
Same, Cody ko feels a lot realer than every other fitness person I’ve seen also it helps that he’s funny
Motivated you to visit your local train station or what?
SAME! I've been killing it on my workouts lately and have been super consistent, which has always been my biggest hurdle.
These are so motivating. So much so that after watching your first marathon video I decided to quit smoking cigarettes and start running. 3 weeks without a cig and up to 6 mile jogs 5×'s a wk. Thats Cody. This was a game changer for me.

This is the only channel that me and my dad have ever watched and enjoyed together, and I’m so excited that it’s just getting started. Thanks Cody!
wholesome
*Cody ghosts this channel after 3 episodes*
robert you are everywhere
Check out Cody's main channel and other secondary channel.
Cody Ko: Mostly comedy, reactions, and more "high" production value.
Cody & Ko: Kinda like this channel but for comedy and some experimental stuff he does.
Highly recommend giving it a chance.
PS: Watch "that's cringe" by Cody. It's top tier.
Been getting healthy recently and started running. Sober over 4 months. Really love that Cody has started this. Him talking about his relationship with alcohol was very important to me. Huge motivation. Appreciate you Cody.

chugga chugga chugga choo choo
Amazing lighting on the models, really brings out the tiny and obscure details of each individual caboose.
Also I gotta say - I really appreciate the fact that you're so open to the learning process, and that you're letting yourself discover how this actually works by trying and seeing for yourself, instead of adopting some external mindset from the get go. Respect.

God I love this model train content
These are some of my favourite videos you’ve made Cody (big Kelsey’s vlogs fan)! Feels more relaxed and actually really motivating me!
Cody you are glowing, your skin looks so good!! I am absolutely loving these videos. I’m Training for my favorite trail race and these videos are so motivating and relatable. Much love
I love these vlogs focused on training and working harder but also listening to your body!! Helps me stay motivated (-:
Love this channel and format…not overproduced and brings back 2016 vlog vibes.
i love waking up to your training vlogs - gives me so much energy and motivation for the day!
Love the format. Love the videos. Entertaining and funny while also inspiring. The train jokes are hilarious to me as well. Thank u Cody
Absolutely loving this content! You’re on of my favorite content creators bringing and your humor with the “idk what I’m doing but I’m gonna do it” is awesome

P.S: Would be awesome if you could share your meal prep / what you eat etc
Yes! I've always said I know I'd be sober in the future and then just thought fuck it why not now! Best choice ever
I’ve been so into these videos! They’re the kick in the butt I need. Keep ‘em coming!
So nice seeing people putting some respect on the model train community
Love these videos Cody! Inspires me to keep going even through a ruff patch, keep at it man
This is one of my favorite ever UA-cam videos. Please just do exactly this, you are so naturally funny!
Absolutely loving this channel Cody, so motivating, inspiring as well as being super enjoyable!!! Just wish there were a few more trains
It’s so odd hearing how you’re intimidated by bikes when your dad holds world records lol
I love this Cody. I take the summers off from running outside and it’s so fun to be back running while you’re running too
I've been going through a tough time since the start of the pandemic and even dropped out of college, but these videos have motivated me to be more active. I moved back to my college town and recently bought a used road bike in order to start cycling around and enjoy the outdoors. Great videos, thanks for posting!
These videos came at the perfect time as I started going back to the gym earlier this month. So motivating 😌
Cody this channel may be your best work yet, so motivating and love the vlog style keep it coming queen!!!
Keep up the great work man, I’m getting back into fitness and pushing myself and these vids are a great motivator so thanks for that!
It’s a great method to get ur mental state at the end of the race ready. I did cross country in hs and my coaches would push us to “sprint” the last sets. Ur body is gonna feel awful but you’ll always have that mentality that ur body has done this before and that will carry you to the finish line.
Can't wait to see Cody on the bike! Wish he could get outside and ride with others; biking with friends is so fun.
The logo for this channel will always be funny
This video and this channel are epic (!!!!!), brings me back to the hawaii vlog energy. Love seeing what you're up to outside of training too, you can make any event or task entertaining. You're awesome & tell kelsey and the animals I say hi
You look so excited getting to have somewhere to talk about this stuff in detail it’s too sweet
Why is this my new favorite channel
i absolutely love these vlogs. i used to do competitive cross county but then got extremely burnt out and didnt do any fitness for a solid 3 years, now im getting back into it again and these videos are just so motivating, it makes me want to train for something too1
Huge motivation keeps me trucking as I’m working to become more and more fit feels like a buddy to realistically encourage on this journey
Hey Cody! Just wanted to say keep these video's up. After seeing your video I decided to sign up for a 5k in Febuary, I live a pretty sedentary life so this is a big hurdle for me to complete. These video's are helping me stay on track, much love
fuck yeah dude
good luck! kick ass
you’ve got this!!
You may already be aware of the couch to 5K app but I suggest it if you need a training plan. I really like that you can track your progress. Good luck and have fun!
thank you for making these videos, it helps keep me motivated more than i thought it would. i appreciate it man
Bikes are so intimidating, can't wait to see your bike riding improvement journey cody! You're my favourite model train influencer 🥰

These vlogs are so dam good Cody - really helping me to keep up my new running regime (albeit nowhere near your level yet). Keep it going man
loving this channel bud, ur killing it rn. just started going to the gym consistently
