Thank you for the backpack socket show i really appreciate it and i don't compare usually but your review compared to others is more satisfying and detailed to look at. Ty so much for this
In a vacuum it's not bad, but it doesn't match the aesthetic of 0083. The only thing that somewhat resembles the other GP0 units are the knees. It looks more like something from AGE or something from post-UC 0100.
never liked the Engage Zero design, but in Kit form it looks really cool, i kinda want it, especially considering the inevitable variants that we will get also, many thanks for always showing compatibily with others kits, knowing these thing beforehand is really handy (lol) So far the only bad thing about this kit is... P-Bandai, hate how everything seems to be PB these days, i don't even remember the last retail HGUC kit that was not a Zaku or a RX-78-2, so many designs that deserve love and won't get it
Might be worth waiting for the variants to justify the higher end price tag, but I'm glad I'm able to help The last time a retail HGUC kit was a thing wasn't even HGUC, but the HGAC Shenlong Gundam. It's so sad how wishing for merely ONE retail HGUC kit is the best we could hope for nowadays
Engage zero is a pretty cool mobile suit I wish I had a model kit because it’s true what he said it doesn’t look like it belongs to this timeline in yet strangely it does put the pilot. It’s also pretty cool and the animation makes the mobile suit look amazing I just like it
I already got this kit and was planning to change the backpack with other kits. Will any core gundam adapter works? I am not sure are there any specific core gundam that I need to get in order to obtain the adapter.
You need to get whichever kit that had the Core Gundam 1. Those will have the slab that you can modify. Alternatively, you can try your hand hunting for the Engage Gundam, as that has 2 adapters that make the Engage backpacks compatible with the universal standard
@@mj2005gundam my favorite gundam of all time is the GP02A. I guess it's just the size of it and it looks so cool with the giant shield and the nuke bazooka. The GP01 and GP01fb are also really nice looking to me especially the GP01fb it's pretty good and it had hilarious clown feet which is funny to look at haha the GP03 is pretty interesting and has some weird retractable little claw arms that remind me of Ball arms that are pretty cool. Haha Age 1-Normal is also my second favorite gundam so maybe I just have weird taste in gundams haha
No. But if you don't have the Engage Gundam, you'll need to sand down the Core Gundam's adapter, then attach the G-Self's back plate with the Perfect Pack on
Premium means limited edition in this context, not that they are of premium quality. Also, as seen with the Build Metaverse kits, they really hate adding in adapters when they don't have to. Breaker Battlogue had all sorts only so that you can build and customize the kits in Breaker fashion
I ordered three copies of this kit (one from the 1st offer and two from the 2nd offer) and now I'm questioning my life decision HAHAHAHAHAHA! XD But yeah. I loved this the first time I saw it. That's why I didn't hesitate.
This is a bit on the higher end, but the difficulty is easy enough for a first build. Keep in mind that it's a P-Bandai kit, so it will be a bit harder to procure
@@mj2005gundam Thank you! I’m new to Gundam, I’d like my first kit to be quite minimal… Would you recommend I build a Hg or Mg first? Any models you’d recommend? I like dark gothic designed kits, also minimalist white ones too… Thanks!

Glad it was helpful!
People will hate me for this but I prefer this design to the aerial
I kinda agree with you
Same
Don't worry.

Lfrith is superior and trumps both of these aesthetically inferior mobile suits

I can't unsee "G-Poo" when I read the name of this Gundam.
Get your mind out the gutter
Looking forward to when I can build mine. I always like the more rounded, almost organic looking kits.
Great review as always, man. Love it.
Thank you, though I can't deny that these cleaner designs need at least some panel lining to look good
There's someting that make -it- her somewhat look like mix of GP01 and G-Self
It also looks like it could fit better in the Regild Century timeline than in UC when it comes to its overall look
Out of place for the period it exists in, I was correct
Now we have two GP00 Gundam
Which is utter BS.
The chest reminds me of the Meklords from Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds
So that’s why I felt it remind me of something!
They do kinda look similar, yeah
No one else is commenting how the engage zero’s beam sabers are *LITERALLY MOUNTED ON THE GUNDAM’S CLAVICLE AND NOT THE BACKPACK*
I know, I'm surprised too

I actually love this design and it fits right in with the GP series designs imo.
It's just too far a departure from the GP series for me, especially compared to the Blossom. Looks more like something from G-Reco than 0083
@ to be fair the Engage Zero was designed by former Zeon engineers working for Anaheim Electronics.

I do like the Engage Zero if I treat it in a vacuum. Unfortunately, it's being treated as part of the GP series, despite it being ostensibly non-canon

Ah yeah. A new GP0 gundam. I'm waiting for mine in the mail myself. I love all the GP0 stuff.
I'm actually interested to know, what's the appeal of the MSs themselves except the nuke bazooka of the GP02?

Hallo! Do you have a link for the tutorial on how to attach the G-self perfect pack to this?
No. But if you don't have the Engage Gundam, you'll need to sand down the Core Gundam's adapter, then attach the G-Self's back plate with the Perfect Pack on

@@mj2005gundam Thank you! I'll try this once I get my hand on a Core Gundam
Is gp00 can use back pack g self? Like atmosphere pack, or perfect pack
The hole seems simmiliar 🤔
No. Completely different rectangular holes
I'm confused, I'm pretty sure there was another GP00 Gundam (the one with the disc radar and giant beam cannon on the backpack)
That's the GP00 Blossom that I mentioned. They decided to ret-con this into the GP-Series and called it "dubiously canon" for whatever reason.
Could this be a hint to potential Revives of the GP01/GP01 Full Bunern?
No. If anything, the variants of the Engage Zero and Engage Gundam are a more plausible assumption
Ah, I’ve been wondering about this kit
My apologies for taking a bit to get to it

Scratch-build good enough, and you might just be able to create the variants yourself before Bandai does anything

We already never heard of UC Engage.... but this P-Bandai GunPla such as this? Well, its reasonable enough unless we know its lore...
They wanna pump money into the UC because it's UC. I wanted them to make more Extreme Gundam variants, and even the N-Extreme Gundams. We all saw how that went
Why is this a second unit sharing GP00 nevertheless I am including this in my head canon
The canonicity of UC Engage is dubious at best. There still is only one GP00 strictly speaking.
Wait...
The Engage Zero has other variants?!
Apart from the standard and additional booster type, there is the Psycommu and Incom type, as well as the Engage Zero Yonghwavin.
Aerial wins in the thiccness round unless we got another thicc gundam/ms
So far, there could be an even more human feminine Gundam design in the future
Pbandai but not using the universal joints?well, not worth it.
It's definitely odd that the Engage doesn't use the universal joints

Nose was stuffed up when recording, forgive me

@@mj2005gundam Fair enough.
this gundam design is soulless
It's manufactured to milk the most nothing period of the UC instead of being something substantial
