    if i,m correct ,the weather on the dolemites is influeced bij the adreatic sea ,wet clouds wil flow over the dolemites or not (go back) if it flows over, it flow to the german mosel (not the eifel )and give even there warm air (and good wine ) so the bad weater is before or gone over the dolemites rain for 2or 3 day,s ??? . there is maybe a choice to ride with/out rain?🤔
    same on the mosel, stay at the mosel if the weater is mostly dry and good there, you can ride easely from mosel treu the eifel if it has dry weather predictions for that day .

      @@wilco1v this weather, I watched on the weather radar on my phone, so could avoid where I could.
      Thanks for the information, so the next time I visit I'll know.

    Are you running standard tyres on your Tiger? I find them very noisy on my 1200 Rally Explorer and am thinking about trying something else.

      @@Colinfellows-z6i yes.
      The GT Explorer came with the metzeler tourance next 2 tyres. I'm finding them great. They're a little squared off after this trip but plenty of tread left before the wear mark. I've done about 5600 miles on them from new an they are probably good for another 2 or 3k.
      The Rally comes with the Karoo Street tyres doesn't it? They're like an 80/20 off-road I think. Definitely noisy because of the tread.
      Hope that helps.
      Thx

      @@AManAstray thank you for your helpful reply. I'm going for a pair of road biased tyres as I don't really go off road.

      @kevinmill7965 ha ha.
      In my defence it looks slower on YT than it was in real life.
      A couple of times, the bike twitched because of crap on the roads, so because I didn't know where I was, foreign country, etc. I was more cautious than I would be at home.
      I'm no speed demon, but not slow.
      A few times on the trip, I did think to myself how I could get my Triumph Speed Triple 1050RS on these roads, a lighter bike, and more fun....but the tyres would be gone by the time I'd ride there.
      Maybe put it in a trailer like those I saw on the autobahn in Germany 😁😎
      I thought about naming the roads, but I'd have to look that up first. Sometimes I try and leave the village name in the video so people can look it up themselves.
      I'll think about it for the next tour.
