As an Indian, I'll say to avoid it. It won't be good for the western ppl. We are used to it cause we have great immune system. But in my experience, western ppl are so overly hygienic, they don't get familiar to different virus & hence fall sick as soon as they eat anything in India. We don't have the glutton allergies etc. If u really want to still, go somewhere which is filled with ppl.

May be it was rawa idli .. Here in Karnataka (Mangalore) I guess my mother makes 2 types of idli - one with rice and Balck gram and other is with rawa and black gram . I am not exactly sure but I guess so..
