Very nice! Enjoyed seeing how this is done relative to both the machining and installation. Thanks for sharing.

Are these rings leaking where both ends come together? That was always a question for me...

I have never seen one leak that I have done

On the 6.7 cummins where do you want the oring to land on the headgasket, I was going to try a felpro permatorque mls gasket with the orings in the block

How do you remove o-rings that have miles on them, seems harder than it should be?? Help

I cut them out most times. But you can spot weld to the wire and pull them if you good with a tig

CUTTERUP ROB What insert is that youre using. I tried grinding a threading insert for my boring head and I came out with horrible pattern / groove when I machined my head. I cant even get the wire to stay in place. So now I need to step it up to the next size wire in hopes of saving my 24v 5.9 head. I was going to try a grooving bar next in my boring head with copper wire. These heads arent cheap.

I use a internal groove cutter .039 square cut most of the time

CUTTERUP ROB sorry to bother you again, Is that a grizzly G3102 knee mill ? It looks just like my knee mill . Did you CNC it or did you buy it with a motorized DRO ? Nice shop you have.

Thanks for making this video. Obviously a very-well trimmed mill is necessary for this process! I’m now confident I can do this in my shop. Thanks again.

How much does .015 off a 12v head raise compression?

Basically nothing. I sure it does a small amount. But nothing to worry about

What gasket would you use on a 6.7 o-ring

On that 6.7 head, what are those counter bores reliefs between the exhaust valves? For more flow?

Roberto Udo Krapf
