The Swedish take dominate the individual equestrian dressage event, taking gold, silver and bronze at the Antwerp 1920 Olympic Games in Belgium.
The individual dressage competition at the Antwerp 1920 Olympic Games could not have gone better for the Swedish team. With an outstanding performance, Janne Lundblad (riding Uno), Bertil Sandström (riding Sabel), Hans von Rosen (riding Running Sister) took all three medals to make it a clean sweep for the Scandinavian country.
Von Rosen had already won gold at the Stockholm 1912 Games, while both Lundblad and Sandström were taken part of the Olympics for the first time. Lundblad would take silver in the Team dressage at the Amsterdam 1928 Games, while Sandström completed a triple silver collection at the Los Angeles 1932 Olympics, after a second one in Paris 1924.
