Always excited to see some of the old stuff. Any chance of working on a Dynaflow (original and the "flight-pitch" version), cast iron Torqueflite, Ultramatic, Powerfilte, Jetaway and the original Hydramatic? A core for the sake of education will do...
If any come in or I come across one. Had a hydromatic come in earlier in the year but the manager chased it away. Was looking forward to doing it. Have had a couple of Dynaflow's come in but that was before I was doing videos. This one happened to be sitting in the back of the shop and I dug it out to do this.
Finding this video is a downer. How do I just know the shop I paid to "rebuild" my powerglide didn't pay anywhere as much attention as this gentleman? Wish could have had him do it!
Thanks for watching.
Does the torque converter go mostly before anything else when it comes to constant WOT ?
I assume you are meaning in a racing scenario. Usually the pump goes first, especially with the newer vane style pumps.
Hello my friend, please I have a problem with the aisin-tf-80sc automatic transmission. I saw your video this transmission have jerky PEUGEOT 508 Can you help me .
There can be alot of things that cause bumpy shifts, I would need more information. Having said that the valve body is the most common problem area.
