I only have 1 EMG 40 DC pickup and I want to buy the pair of it, but I see several videos indicating I use the 2 pickups alike and in the pickup manual it indicates that the combination would be: 40 DC and 40 cs. which would actually be better: 2 - 40 DC or 1-40 DC and 1 40 cs
I DO like EMG pickups and electronics, they offer such a wide range of products, all of them can give you a wide range of tones and dynamics, they make really good and consistent quality, but the customer/technical support people are as good as you'll find anywhere. I will say that while I prefer the sets offered for guitar, that I like to put together two different pickups for a bass guitar.
