my boyfriend tamed our first astrodelphis last night and was so excited. so glad they are breedable so that we can take up our second and have an infinite supple to explore with. I haven't had the chance to really try them out yet outside of the missions. looks like fun

I love the content, but when you said maewings are a creature you feel needs to be mutated into bright colors, my first thought was “How is that different from every other color mutation you tend to go for?”
Different taming amounts because it eats different amounts of element. the amount of element it eats goes in a rotation. first feed: 1 Element -> next feed: 3 Element -> next feed: 5 Element-> next feed: 10 Element and then it starts with 1 Element again and it continues like that until it is tamed.
The more pets you can get in before you feed it element, the higher tame you will get, so if you only get 1 pet before feeding, it may be 2-4%, if you get 5 you can get about 10-15%.
You should name the dolphin "M.Falcon" after the millennium falcon :D

You could call the Astrodelphus "Wilzyx" - the Whale that the boys 'release' to the moon in South Park. I'd suggest it for an Astrrocetus ideally, but if you even tame one you won't use it half as much.
Although I have not actually tamed a voidwyrm yet, I noticed that getting one aggrod onto a tek stryder and having it tank damage keeps the voidwyrm passive towards you and mostly still
At the very beginning he states that the Astrodelphis is elusive yet in a previous episode there were about 8 that spwaned together. I'm not sure if he knows the meaning of elusive. lol 😆😅
Maybe you can call this male Astrodelphis Circinus after the galaxy i mean its a space dolphin and if you ever tame a female you can call it Andromeda also after the galaxy
Not sure if you figured it out yet but to un-net things you have to equip something sharp (sword is what I use) and melee the creature or player a few times (not sure if it changes with server settings or melee points but it takes me 3 hits with my ascendant sword) hope this helps ☺️

It cycles from 1-3-5-10 then it resets, this is a mechanic that i wish every passive tame had.

Taming tip: you don’t need to net or kill anything, just go up to the one you want, pet pet feed and it will leave the pack, the others won’t follow
Unless they see you, they’ll want element
I was taming my first astrodelphis and its whole fam spotted me and they started giving welcome bumps XD
The others may not follow but they will continuously attack you while the one you just petted goes off on its own.

There’s a lot of blue mutations on the maewings so you could make a traditional syntac colored maewing or u could use the green to switch things up

To do the 'drifting' thing, you need to be turning left or right while you're holding A or D respectively and release while you're turning.

I’m not sure if you’ll see this but the feeding of astrodelphis goes in a pattern of 1 - 3 - 5 - 10 element and then repeats if tame isn’t finished.
