The Genesis Series is a Syntac Adventure in the New Genesis Part 2 DLC Map for Ark Survival Evolved. In this series Syntac will progress in the Lifeboat Spaceship by taming fantastical creatures like the Stealthy Assassin Shadowmane, the Mind Controlling Noglin and the Space Dolphin Astrodelphis! Once he has completed the dangerous missions the lifeboat has in store for him he can face the Element Infused Rockwell for the final time to save the Arks!

@Syntac The hexagon buff does work you got 36k Hexagons at the end of the mission. In which that mission only gives a typical reward of 30k on alpha. When a hexagon increase occurs it changes the value in the mission menu.
Syntac: Make sure you have your glide suit so that you don’t die.
Jim: But what about my balloon dinosaur costume?

Yeah would be cool but getting them is super easy. You just pull them Below rockwells hearth and they fall Below 2000 health in the acid for you to get pregnant ez.
Our server has a public trap and we mention anything in world chat 135 or higher (my tribe stared it lol) don't even have to look for reapers no more other do it for me :p

If you save the turrets in the beginning they will attack the creatures while you wait for the door to open

You can easily solo this mission with a decent shotgun and a Thyla. They work great skipping the first little maze thing, then set them to aggressive during the end battle and just let them go to town as you shoot from the background.
I may be missing some important detail, but can't you just take in a ferox through the tiny crouch gate and grow it after that? Seems like it could make things easier.
Yes I just did this mission solo on gamma last night with a shadowmane without any idea what to expect and it was awesome luckily I came prepared enough, definitely have to go back for that experimental giga dermis

I think he said in one of his older videos that he does not plan to show his face for personal reasons.

I was about to ask this - has anyone tried just taking a ferox into this mission and swapping it between large/tiny mode to get a mount into the 'player' sections?
I took a ferox, but there was a glitch where it did not come back with me. It got stuck in the mission.

@@aecides3203 no, you can only have it transferred in if it is enraged. If it is on your shoulder it just wont teleport in

I soloed the Alpha Code Red on console. Used a mutated R-Thyla. The hardest part for me was the giga.
Since you cant bring gigas into missons the strongest creatures you can bring into them are reapers unless you mutate some crazy rexes/spinos etc, but still id reccomend reapers bc of insane natural resistance

The 20% more hexagons only counts for missions of the same difficultly. So you did the beta code red, you only get 20% more Hexagons for beta missions. At least that's my understanding of it
I think he got the bonus. Default is 30k and it showed 36k when He started it. The boost was already included.

2. Something I've learned from watching Syntac that he doesn't know, when your shadowmane bites instead of hitting with its claws, it does not increase the Ult. bar
3. I'm not sure if I've accidently enabled something on my server (#Gportal), but I'm able to pick up and throw out dinos in the sim, so for code red me and my friends flew through it on snow owls and just used super mutated spinos at the end.
That gun shot sounds are so satisfying

The gen missions are so op. I’m playing official small tribes and have over capped tek saddles from missions
29:09 u can no longer net maewings during the maewing poaching mission, so now you have to actually chase them when tranqing them and they will sometimes teleport because of mission areas. Impossible to do beta solo now
Beta is possible with a good tek bow, alpha is a completely different story though.

You should wear the exo tek fed suit. They may not provide much armor, but they can do a lot of damage and they can get you out of sticky situations. When clearing the firewall things, they could have helped a lot
For the part where you press the button and run through all the Dino’s use grapple hooks because then the Dino’s can’t get you.

33:00 the buff Works for the dificulty you fight thw mission. You Did on beta, you get the buff in beta missions
So pro tips for alpha code red:
You can use shadowmanes to jump over the entire maze in the first room, spare the turrets. They will become yours when you clear the vents room. When you're at the room with the jarred dinos you only really need to save one. Can save 3 if you each focus one dino. When you get into the rooms where the dinos break out. Do not fight them. Run. Also spilt up one person on each side. Or you will run out of time if you fight. For the giga fight. Run your manes into his ankles. Hell try to run around to get you on his toes. Making it easy to beat him.

I think using focal chili would be a good idea, but you could also use the shadowmaine roar to boost your movement speed as well.

I have a theory so all the dino nerds here know the giga in this game is so scientifically inaccurate it makes your head hurt if there are experimental Gigas maybe the original Gigas the ones we know and love were mutated and experimented on until they looked like they were on crack?
I think the real scariest thing in ark is the maewing with its bounteous teets

We actually did the alpha just me and 1 other. Max levels and really good shadowmanes, lots of movement speed too. At the very start we just jumped over the transparent walls with shadowmanes to the door and rushed through the vents. In the defense unit room a shield is a good idea like a good riot shield. After that just run around till the door opens and then run to the end. In the other room focus on the 5 sample dinos at the very end and nothing else. The movement speed really helps when going through the danger hallway just run past everything and ur fine. At the giga place you can actually knock out the giga for a brief period by luring it to one of the bombs in the room and blowing it up. The giga goes unconcious and then you strike with the shadowmanes :D it was bloody difficult with just 2 of us but got it done.

If you have the engram, the phase pistols are a godsend in the on food missions. Using them to heal players, and the tek sword is crucial for its charge ability. Let's you launch yourself through the air since grapples got disabled
