So happy for you dear Lilly and your family. Though to help your restaurant - perhaps thinks about that lounge area in the back and move all out and put tables and chairs for customers to come and dine. Your dear children need to be in the back of the shop area with either you or a Nanny as people without children won't want to come there to eat. Your business will be busier without children running around. Not being mean as l love all of your dear children. People want to come eat and to relax and not have screaming children running around. You are in a tourist destination. Many singles or couples if the see children running around, they won't want to dine in your restaurant as it's not relaxing for them at all. You have a tiny space. Just trying to help. You are doing so amazing. Love your channel always. Something was a bit off with the new lady who quit! Watt and Nam need to step back as you are the boss and you need to keep track of what is really happening as it's your Business. 🙏🙏💛💛🍽🍽🌺🌺

Nam is a solid cook. I think you should have the kids in school and find a new baby sitter. Increase Nam pay and have her cook. You can watch the children at night
Lily never really watch her children, she is only for the camera, can’t stand her and even she talk to people she keep looking in that camera.

Nam is superb, great character and personality, look after kids and the rest of the hse hold. She'the Mayordoma and the Nanny, but of course the brain here is Lily herself! She has an overhead responsibility! Kudos to you Lily! And of course to yr very supportive husband Wat! Great team work!
When I look back in time at all the unexpected challenges in my life, the times when things didn't go my way, etc. I can see the majority of the times it was for my own good even even if it was unpleasant and challenging at the moment. It was only over time that I could appreciate how things were really falling perfectly into place for a better future outcome.

I would say it was good she left, you do not need negative vibes in your kitchen because that would bring everyone else down. I pray the right person will come along and it will be a much happier environment. Leon is so cute with his dance moves, Luke is so funny and Lyla looks so chill, beautiful family.
The cooker was maybe sensitive, it doesn't mean she's not the right person. She had good skills and cooks well, so must be good person. We all have our sensitivity. I think we need to save the relationship. Just talk and try again. Maybe she woulk like to work there but with better understanding and attention.
I think the problem is Nam because she is a nanny look like Lilly don’t like to do anything she depends everything on Nam with her restaurant staff may be nam was mean to her she was cooking for them . Nam should be only nanny not tell the staff what to do that the problem.how come Lilly u said you don’t have a working visa but u posting videos every day you said u working hard you making money . You are working that part of work . What Thai government will say that .

This is like the new tourist attraction in Koh Samui now. All of Lilly's fans can now see them in real life and chat with them. Smart move.
Despite the challenges, you can tell that opening the restaurant again has been a blessing to your family. There’s more vibrancy in your spirits, especially Wat. You all needed this, and God will provide. Where one door closes, God opens another. You’ll find the right staff in time, and you’ll look back to this and be thankful this door closed to make way for someone better.
And I just have to say, Nam’s son seems like such a sweetheart. So good natured and kind, even knowing all he has seen and been through. He seems like such a blessing to have added into your family. I’m so happy he’s finally with you all, and with his mom again. How beautiful it has been to see him blend into your family so seamlessly, especially with his new siblings. Prayers have certainly been answered.

It's very common in work places, across all industries for staff to bitch against one another when they perceive favoritism shown by their bosses, even more so when they are from the same community. Jealousy is usually the case. Going forward, Lilly you need to tread carefully how you balance your treatment of Nam who you consider as family. There are subtle nuances that you have to watch out for. I wish you every success running your restaurant. It's alot of hard work but it can be rewarding too. Good luck!

Your food looks SO good! Seeing your kiddos in the video is wonderful. I see each of their personalities and they make me smile. Lilly, I think your restaurant is going to be very successful and the food looks amazing! The idea that everything is made fresh to order puts you ahead of the game. When someone quits without notice is Gods way of telling and showing you that that person is not fit for the job early. Take this as a blessing and move on. Like you said she doesn’t want to work and she’s jealous. Ask God to send you the right person for this job who will have a open mind and who is willing to work and learn. Your husband is amazing and on point! He keeps it moving no matter what. Her daughter should not have been at her job no way. I like that you do use table cloths they look nice. To set you apart from the copycats later find you some white tablecloths they really make a business look fresh and clean also classy. I’m also a Chef and I love your presentation.

As a business owner, I so feel and pray for you! As a person married into a Vietnamese family, one that ran restaurants, I will tell you there is no way my MIL would cook our food and when she came to visit I had to clear the kitchen and let her cook because she would not even try what I had made - she told me I use too many pots and she cooks better :D I lover to pieces and so respect her life so I gladly let have at it. But for you, you need someone that is willing to be flexible ... too bad though ... a good panang is a treasure! ... PS...I wrote before the end ... OH! the red snapper was plated beautifully and looked delicious!

I had the same problem when I had an office in the Philippines. They would just not come into work, because it was their brother's birthday, or another reason. Sometimes they just thought the job was too hard and never showed up again. Your food looks very good.

I think its hard to run a restaurant with kids running around. I think if you designate an area away from customers and tables and someone to watch them then you can co céntrate on tending to customers

Hi you all just recently found your channel, the first time I went to Thailand we stayed in koi samui, we loved it that was back in 2001. We have been going every year since but to different parts, except when COVID was going around. We have talked to other people who have been to koi samui and they have all loved it, there is a lot more there now since we were there.

It’s very common in many cultures to have the kids in the restaurant while the family works. I’ve been to many Thai and Vietnamese restaurants where the kids are at a table doing homework, eating, bringing the food out. Americans can be too uptight with this sort of environment. I rather enjoy it myself.

Having a restaurant must really be stressful, let alone not having staff that you can depend on...But first, in the middle of a stressful situation, you remain pretty and calm, your kids are so adorable and your Mom is very supportive, always thinking outside of the box :-)

Lilikoi looks awesome whenever I come back to Thailand I’m gonna look you up and have dinner. I remember in Thailand traveling with my grandson a lot of the restaurants had baskets of toys for children to play with and it was nice because the children could sit and play with toys and the parents could eat because most the time to kids just come up to take a bite and leave to finish playing with the toys, I think that’s a great addition if you have a basket some toys for a little kids to play with if you have already thought of that.. The best ingredient to HUMMOS is tahini (sesame seed paste) and add a bit lemon juice and a bit salt. When, put about 1 3tblspn olive oil on top!
