I was shocked to find out how polite, kind, caring and the opposite he really was in his private life than he was on stage or speaking on a microphone. This human man did have a heart and conscience. George Carlin (1937-2008) published this about modern times on March 12, 2004 shortly after the death of his wife: The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings and shorter tempers, wider freeways, but narrower viewpoints. We spend more, but have less, we buy more, but enjoy less. We have bigger houses and smaller families, more conveniences, but less time. We have more degrees but less sense, more knowledge, but less judgment, more experts, yet more problems, more medicine, but less wellness. We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, wake up too tired, read too little, watch TV too much, pray too seldom. We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values. We talk too much, love too seldom and hate too often. We've learned how to make a living, but not a life. We've added years to life but not life to years. We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet a new neighbour. We conquered outer space but not inner space. We've done larger things, but not better things. We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul. We've conquered the atom, but not our prejudice. We write more, but learn less. We plan more, but accomplish less. We've learned to rush, but not to wait. We build more computers to hold more information, to produce more copies than ever, but we communicate less and less. These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion, big men and small character, steep profits and shallow relationships. These are the days of two incomes but more divorce, fancier houses, but broken homes. These are the days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throwaway morality, one-night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer, to quiet, to kill. It is a time when there is much in the showroom window, and nothing in the stockroom. A time when technology can bring this letter to you, and a time when you can choose to share this insight, or to just hit delete. Remember, spend some time with loved ones, because they are not going to be around forever. Remember, say a kind word to someone who looks up at you in awe, because that little person soon will grow up and leave your side. Remember, to give a warm hug to the one next to you, because that is the only treasure can give with your heart and it doesn't cost a cent. Remember to say, "I love you" to your partner and loved ones, but most of all to mean it. A kiss and an embrace will mend hurt when it comes from deep inside of you. Remember to hold hands and cherish the moment, for someday that person will not be there again. Give time to love, give time to speak, and give time to share precious thoughts in your mind. Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

But ,they ain't Carlin. It's not their fault. There will never BE another Carlin. I recently spent over $100 on his complete collection on DVD . A bargain at $200, in my opinion. When I'm down, boom a Carlin disc goes into the player and I get an entire show. Cheers me right up. I could probably find all of it on UA-cam, but you can't loan people without good internet a UA-cam video, and my internet is not great either. Hell, I'd have given them $300. Don't tell them though! :-)
Girl - you know Ring My Bell! I hit Like before George even started.
I love it when people like George talk logically and people without logic say things like taking it out of context. Bullshit excuse
You got to buy you a water bottle
I like her water bottle - she doesn't mess around with dinky little dribbles.
Joe Pesci is one of the robbers in Home Alone. For our newer generation....
Yeah but... Don't forget about Goodfellas, Raging Bull and Casino. lol I may be from the 1st Home Alone generation, but I grew up on Gangster/mob movies... Considering, that's half my families history... xD
Just a bit of context here but there is a bigger time distance from home alone to now, than there is from the moon landing to home alone hahahahaha not that I wish you to feel old or anything😳😳😳😳
My favorite movie he’s in is gone fishing
What's this? My personal Heros classic comedy bit that inspired me...
And someone's reacting?
GOD DAMN 🔥 excuse me while I collect my jaw.
#SUB
George is probably the most decorated comedian of all time.
Him and Pryor are arguably the 2 comics most commonly considered as the best.
50 years 14 hbo shows 3 by times best sellers. 20 albums a mark Twain award and a supreme Court case still being fought for a half a century.
I could pick from 20 or 30 hilarious bits
But I'd love to see a reaction to either request of your choice. :)
Doug Stanhope - Liberty
Or
Bill Hicks - War on drugs
Joe Pesci starred as violent gangsters and tough guys in many American movies from the 80s to the late 90s.
your laugh is so strained.
George Carlin is god for me 🙌🙌🙌
I love your reaction to this. I know that Christianity is a huge part of black culture, but that shouldn't be the case. I'm Greek and had Xtianity pushed on me, but I remembered why that is. You are better than musket brain-washing.
The great thing about these reaction videos is that you can always see the point in which people start having a change of heart and they dont wanna face the fact that they may have to accept something that they dont want to..Hence 6:46
Got a new sub here...loved the video and you are stunning!
Thanks love
You should check out Jim Jefferies. Good bits on religion, gun control and airplane etiquette.
Nothing really out of context. Religious people cherry pick what about there book they will and won’t follow. Most religious people have never read there “holy text” even once. Which means people just go off of hearsay and that’s not reliable.
You are the most adorable beautiful reaction Gal !!!
Joe Pesci is the actor who plays the short bald robber in Home Alone. You know, the guy who gets the shit kicked out of him by an 8 year old.
great movie
Goat, Carlin.
Girl, your reactions fucking kill me lol. I'm glad you are/were watching George.
Joe Pesci is an actor famous for roles in movies like Goodfellas, Casino and My Cousin Vinny.
Joe Pesci is from goodfellas and casino and my cousin Vinny
Just letting her know who he is
For me I was raised by an atheist dad and started listening to celebrity spirit box. Gives me hope that there is sthg after. Nobody knows.
I see everyone recommended more George videos, you can’t go wrong with him... But make sure to check out Ricky Gervais Noah’s Ark too!
----Hello Georgeoues !!!
You’ll probably know joe Pesci from home alone as one of the thief’s. He’s also in movies like casino, goodfellas, great mob movies. And shit like my cousin vinny, and lethal weapon series.
Anything by Bill Hicks would be worth your while, though his breakdown of the benefits of taking mushrooms and LSD is pretty epic.
I know you said you don't agree with what he said here (and tbh, I was watching your facial expressions change throughout lol so I could tell when you couldn't help but smile or laugh out loud and when your smile was waning and your brows start furrowing haha) but I've still gotta give you props for taking it all in stride and giving us an honest reaction anyway :)
*George Carlin has another hilarious stand up routine that's religiously themed about shortening the list of 10 Commandments down to a more manageable size, you might want to consider doing a reaction to that video too* (Can't remember the exact title, just google/YT search for "George Carlin 10 commandments" and it should come up).
Aside from that, all of the others I've seen people mentioning in the comments _(7 dirty words, Our similarities / The things we have in common, Save the planet, Death Penalty, etc)_ are all classics and solid recommendations you should check out if you end up liking Carlin's content.
He's funny as hell
Jim Jefferies - Religion
I was pulled through Baptist Church; the clothes. . .
Him and Bill the best
Hey cutie.. can you do all of George Carlin Material please. You are energetic and cute. You kinda look like a track ⭐️. Bless up

Watch some of his earlier stuff, like the seven words you can't say on TV
Joe Pesci was the tough guy in Goodfellas. My cousin Vinnie
I have one for you to react to, Norm Mcdonalds 12 minute joke. You are so entertaining.
It's funny. Nobody has done George Carlin on Stuff. You can be the first. Back in the day, that was the bit to see/hear.
LOVE it.
Joe Pesci is an actor who plays a lot of hard core violent gangsters. Casino, Good Fellas... He really is great at comedy though :p
