Complete Rope Drop Experience for Rise of the Resistance

- If you've ever wondered what it's like to rope drop Rise of the Resistance, here you go. The complete, unfiltered, mostly unedited (two micro edits) experience from rope drop, through Frontierland, through the queue, and complete ride through. All in it was just over 30 minutes and is what I consider to be about as optimal as it can get if you don't basically RUN to the attraction.

A true 19 minute ride/experience. From the Rey doors opening to pulling into the offload area… 19 minutes 👍🏼
Rise rope drop is high risk, high reward. Tried it twice, first time was great like this experience, second time ride was down so we wasted a good 5-10 minutes changing course. Plus we were all sweaty and out of breath rushing over there, for nothing 😂
It's all or nothing with a rise rope drop
The fast walking and running never ceases to entertain me. Saving maybe one minute...lol..
Saving 100 people in front of you. Not time
@@jennifermcneil8349 which equals about a minute.
''Freshbaked your amazing!'' _Random lady at Disneyland... I AGREE!!
15 min the the Rey room seems great. 👍🏼
We had that same "first order security officer". While initially not very demanding, his waiting banter was good.
Yes! I like him too. I forget the cast members name. It's on the tip of my tongue. Anyway, I had an interaction with him and he is FANtastic!!
Wish everyone would stop running, things would go much smoother. Thanks for the vid David
FRESHBAKED is DISNEYLAND!!
HOW i miss this video? Glad it I searched for Freshbaked for some oldy and goodyies...
Good to know this. Thanks
Thank you so much for doing this blog because we always do rise first. I think the route you took is the best one and 35 minutes isn’t bad at all! Totally worth it!
its the only route IMO.
That was surprisingly good. I'm still not risking rope drop to there. I've had good fortune taking it closer to 9pm/10pm when they keep it open longer.
not sure I could have done much better than that.
The look of such desperation in everyone's faces. LOL.
We never do Rise first but nice to know that it is that efficient at rope drop. if you take the correct path. and it is up and running.
Hey Fresh Baked!!
This video is a perfect case for why rope-dropping ROTR is a terrible idea. Even with the ride operating at opening (never a sure thing) and virtually no wait to the Rey room, the combination of length of walk to that far end of the park and the length of the ride means you get in this one ride in the same time you could get in three other LL attractions. Even if you end up waiting more than hour for ROTR later in the day, it's *still* more time saved to do, say, Space Mountain, Matterhorn & Indy in that same half-hour.
Also: Will the cannons ever move again?
Good point, thanks
Key takeaway don’t go to critter country to get to the ride
no. do not.
I'm surprised it was up and running at rope drop. In many cases they keep it closed until 9
I wonder what crowds will be for ROR rope drop when Tiana’s opens up
the Rise demand is already significantly lower than it was.
I’d love to see a rise rope drop pov from an early entry guest perspective. I haven’t seen that done, I know they tend to line up near red rose to push through. Curious if that is still a plan worth trying.
I'm watching on 12/6 and the wait for ROR at 4:18 is 140 minutes. Ouch!
Sure hope after that first months long referb those cannons come back.
it's been a very long time since they've worked properly, that's for sure.
I feel bad for those people who use what I call the Hungry Bear Entrance.
I can't pick up what was funny at 21:55. Something the kid said is all I can figure.
Interesting. It looks like Lighting lane did not have any impact on this day. Maybe rope drop is a good strategy now.
it's rope drop. you'd be crazy to use lightning lane at rope drop.
I'm going to be staying on property when I go. Is there any extra advantage to using the magic morning? Maybe waiting up in fantasyland and heading down that way?
with respect to rise? Yes. You do get a head start on the rest of the rope droppers. you can't get in before 8, but you can rope drop at the entrance to big thunder trail from fantasyland (by red rose tavern). From there you will definitely beat the regular rope drop rush.
How many times did you try Rope Dropping Rise to find it open? We tried 3 times last year, with early openers as Hotel guests, only for it not to be running at Rope Drop.
this was my first and only rope drop effort during this current rise recon session.
@@ToursDepartingDaily You need to go buy a Powerball ticket NOW!! 😁
Wait is this a updated rope drop. I just wanted the ropes drop rise from 1 year ago.
Yes
this is just the experience. not a how to or anything like that. just what it's like.
"Good morning"? How about "Bright Suns!"? I LOVE the ride but am so disappointed that the "land" itself did not deliver on what was promised. Thanks for the awesome POV, Fresh Baked!!
Most people don't like doing the whole in universe thing.
@@ToursDepartingDaily I don't disagree but as someone who was looking forward to THAT completely immersive experience, I am disappointed. But ultimately, I would prefer CMs be IN character even if the average joe doesn't say bright Suns or rising moons in return.
Meanwhile I've been on three rides by this time.
Not true. I lied. Maybe two.
2 inferior rides
@@stephenwhite5444 inferior to Rise? Yes. Inferior as a whole? No.
4:22 what's this "good morning" stuff? Isn't it "bright suns"?
it's no longer required of CM's. some do still say it, but good morning works fine too. It's because guests don't want it. they have no idea what bright suns means.
@@ToursDepartingDaily lol. Gotcha. Thanks.
People you have 16 hours. Relax
people are serious about their rise of the resistance. that's why I"m doing this recon in the first place :)
Can’t stand seeing adults running through the park
Grown people should really stop running 🫢
