- In a world with so many media outlets and platforms, one would think opportunities to express ourselves without interference or filters would be more readily available than ever. Discover how one man’s mission to bring voice to the voiceless in the inner city exposes the truth about how flawed the system is and our attitudes toward it really are. This is Mike Boston’s Mobile Stü story. Mike Boston is a rapper, the voice of national campaigns for the Boston Celtics and the founder of Mobile Stü, a recording studio he takes into inner city neighborhoods to affect social change. Prior to founding Mobile Stü, Mike spent two decades using his artistic talents and humanitarian spirit in service of his community while at Roca, an organization devoted to keeping high-risk youths out of prison. His work has been recognized both locally and nationally. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
