I do not understand how come you do not have 10 000 subscribers! Your adventures are so much more exciting, the scenery is so much more beautiful, and the music is so much more appropriate than 75% of the stuff on youtube. Each one of your videos is amazing, and encourages the viewer to make the same trip. I'm in Newfoundland, Canada, and I have always been a BIG fan of the Old West. Videos like yours give me dreams and ideas. Of course I subscribed! Cheers!
I agree with everything except that music...Would rather hear motors or some commentary on the various sections. But that music made me ride the MUTE BUTTON. Seriously...Great video and photos but that music drove me nearly insane. I bet they weren't listening to that while they were riding.....
I must add another comment to my last...Your videos bring to life the images I had when reading Zane Grey's books. Riders of the Purple Sage, The Hash Knife Outfit, Maverick Queen...Ahhhh, wonderful books. Wonderful videos.
WOW!!! Thank you very much for the incredible review! I love doing these videos simply for the challenge and the opportunity it gives others, such as yourself, to somewhat relive the same experience we had. The videos have plenty of areas I can improve on and hope to do so as I buy better equipment and put more up. My passion is also the Wild West and truly enjoy the freedom of exploring it on my trusty steed, the Can Am Outlander Max. I have another 1000 mile trip planned this year across the great state of Idaho and will most definitely be trying to out do the two videos I have already posted. Until then, cheers and thanks for the kind words!
New subscriber! Great video! I’m moving to Kanab Utah in the spring/summer of 2021. Plan on getting an ATV and UTV. Can’t wait to explore the hundreds of miles of trails in beautiful Utah...👍🏻😉
Thank you ATV Overland. I love your videos as well and always look forward to your new ones. BTW, I never made it to Rocky Ford with the trailer on this trip but it is still on my to do list and will be sure to have proof once I am done. Even if its at the bottom . LOL
Ahh, yes, I remember. It's doable, but would need some serious focus. Thanks for the comment and reply. Looking forward to that Rocky Ford Canyon video one day.
ctorfrank As soon as I can get some free time, I will get a video posted on the trailer that I pulled. It's a home made job that a friend of mine built for the trip.
Magnificent! I wished I lived out west so I could ride trails and experience such beauty! Out here in the East it’s all about ruining your expensive investment in mud and water holes! I don’t get it but it’s not my idea of enjoyment!
Great video, as always. As soon as I click this reply, I am going to look for this Great Wester Trail. I have never heard of it. I live in Pocatello, so it is not to far to go.
Thank you, Joe. We have still been doing these, I just haven't been able to get the videos put together yet. Between a couple of other projects and a full-time job, extra time has been pretty scarce. I'll try to do better and get them done here pretty quick. Thanks!
Thanks John! The flat came from me hitting a bug sharp rock in the middle of a gravel road. I was going just quick enough to where it pinched the sidewall. The tie rod was because he drove off the road, not paying attention. Lol
Nice video and rides. I’ve been wanting to do some camping like this and one of the trails I was eyeing happened to be from Salina to Thousand Lake. Good to know that it’ll doable in a day of riding.
Western Adventure Pictures If memory serves mecorrrctly, it was approx. 85 miles from Salina to the Thousand Lakes area via the Great Western Trail. It was definitely a beautiful ride and I thoroughly enjoyed all of the 50" trail along the way.
Hi there, great video! Thanks for that adventure you shared with us viewers. May i ask the model and brand of the frontbox you have @0:51 ? Greetings from sweden !!
Thank you! The front box is made by Kimpex. It's over 10 years old and after a quick check on the internet, I am convinced they are no longer making them. I can't find one anywhere.
No certain brand, just a trailer that a friend of mine and myself build. We have built for others. If you're interested in one, shoot me an email to ceg043@hotmail.com
Excellent Video. I am curious how you planned the course with assurance a camping trailer towed behind an ATV would clear any challening/technical trail sections.
Brian Nimmo Thanks Brian! When I plan my trips, I just use legal atv and other type routes in order for me to get from point A to B. Unless I happen to run across a map that lists the level of difficulty, there is absolutely no assurance or guarantee that it will be doable with my rig. That is one of the added challenges for sure as you never know what you've got until your there. Of the trips I have done so far with a trailer, I have only had to reroute once but have had to winch a few times to get over excessively steep terrain that I just couldn't get enough traction on.
Can you tell me the dimensions of your trailer? It seemed no more than 4 feet wide.. would you have encountered a problem if it had been over 5 feet wide? Some gates/bridges seemed tight already. I’m shopping for a setup like your trailer but most are like 61-65 inches wide.. might be a problem on certain trails.
André Morissette Hey Andre, The trailer I pulled was 49" wide (at the tires) and 56" long. The tent on top was 48"x56". I had it built to those specs so that I could get through the 50" gates out west. Anything wider would most certainly keep you from accessing the narrower/gated trails. If you are looking for something already built, check out this website www.atvwagon.com/ Also check out the ATV Overland channel here on UA-cam as they did a review on the atv wagon. You could use it as a base and build it up however you saw fit. If you need something more specifically built, let me know. I just so happen to know a guy. Hope this helps!
Love your videos & your riding style. Would love to join you guys sometime. I have a couple of machines I am in the process of getting them setup for long & overnight trial rides. Thanks
lowrider9367 Thanks lowrider9367. I love my long distance trips and they are by far my favorite thing to do with the quad. What kind if machines are you working on getting set up?
I have a 700 Grizzly & 650 Can Am Outlander. I just mounted a large box on the back for plenty of space for extra riding gear, food & tools on each machine.
Good deal! I don't know where you live but if it's not out west somewhere get out there and check it out. The possibilities for long adventures and high mileage trips are just about endless. We just finished a 1070 miler from northern Idaho to southern Idaho. It was great!
chickasawable Thank you! Mine is an EcoTrek. They have since gone out of business but the Tepui and CVTs are alot like them. I ended up with the EcoTrek because I found it used for half the price of the others. It's been an excellent tent so far.

Once again very good show

Thanks again Cletus! It was a good trip and now that you mention it, its about time to get back out to Moab.😁

kykodiak100 Thank you! You know your welcome with us anytime you want to go.
Wow beautiful country side that was a great video and looks like a great place to ride would love to do that one day
Thank you!
Eye candy ! Shortness of breath ... and I’m not even talking about some of the trails . Nice Choice.
Thanks Stephen!
Looks like an awesome trip!! Nice video
Thank you!
Very good and very enjoyable video. Awesome country. Any chance of posting itinerary?
Nice vid. I'm gonna have to ride some of these on my next trip out. Like to see a close up vid/pics of that trailer.

As soon as I can get some free time, I will get a video posted on the trailer that I pulled. It's a home made job that a friend of mine built for the trip.
Curious if you think a kubota 520 side by side will fit and go thru the trails. It’s the width of a 4 wheeler. Thank you so much!
Yeah, if it's the same width as the 4 wheeler, it should fit just fine. The gates are 50" wide!
Magnificent! I wished I lived out west so I could ride trails and experience such beauty! Out here in the East it’s all about ruining your expensive investment in mud and water holes! I don’t get it but it’s not my idea of enjoyment!
I feel your pain. I live in the east myself.
Absolutely awesome. I want to go to Utah so bad. Any chance you could do a video of your trailer set up?

I am pretty busy working on a couple of other big projects right now but as soon as I get some time freed up I would be happy to.

It's a 2013 Can Am Outlander Max 650
How much does your trailer. Weigh when loaded? Is the 650 enough? Would you recommend 800 instead. I'd like to similar setup
Well, you’re only 6000 miles from the Great Wall of China.... Sorry, the music seems oriental at times. I’d rather here the 4-wheelers run. 😡
