- The fifth of my six Summer C3 2022 songs.
It's the one and only... the theme song of Junko "Are you watching Chang'e" Touhou. This was meant to be a big highlight of my entire C3 thread given the hype surrounding it. I had plans on doing this song since last year, ever since I did Junko's stage theme. This was also the hardest song I've done, given that I had to make this compatible with SMW, and that was incredibly difficult, but still possible.
I love Junko. She's easily another one of my favorites in the series, and easily my favorite newcomer from Touhou 15. She's got a nice backstory, cool design, quirky personality, etc. Wonder if Chang'e ever will make an appearance and finally watch Junko.

people complain about junko's theme but i think it's one of the more powerful boss themes. you captured its magnitude and intensity very well in this cover, love it so much

Gotta say, even after hours of practicing I still like it (in fact, thanks to the constant loops - I have memorized every note of every instrument layer)
