I'm not a woman, but I have a mother, wife, 4 daughters, various other legitimate women/girls in my family, and I'm grateful for people like Walsh who speak the facts and try to allow for others to also acknowledge reality and the truth.

The folks in the film that said they are "women", will never understand the pain, the trials, and suffering that comes with being an ACTUAL woman. They will never understand the discomfort, confusion, then (at least on my part) happiness that comes when your first period comes. How your body changes almost dramatically over the course of a few years during your teens, how emotional one gets when hormones rise, or how exhuasted we feel on our periods. Or even the changes women go through birth, and how devoted one becomes to a child to death. For them to say womanhood is "an umbrella term", absolutely disgusts me. It's not a dress, the wigs, or makeup that makes a woman, it's the actual process of puberty setting in! How your mother is your guide to becoming a strong woman to face a tough world that either wants to put you down, or pit you against others that are more "beautiful" than you. I was a tomboy growing up, but that didn't make me any less of a woman! Just cause some women are infertile, doesn't mean they aren't women! Biological women are the only real women, and have different personalities! Some will want to kick your ass, some will want to garden. Womanhood is not a costume, it's a biological experience that happens NATURALLY.

Whether it is a meaningful difference or not is a different topic, and I'd be open for a discussion on that, but that's not what the transgender community tries to assert. Their claim is that there's no discernible difference between a cis-woman and a trans-woman, between a cis-man and a trans-man.

I'm just an average man on the street, not political in any way, and the one thing I've been asking for years is "what does "feeling like a woman" actually mean?" Is it based on stereotypes of makeup, dresses, pink girly things? I thought we had moved beyond such offensive stereotyping of people - "if you like pink things and ballet dancing you must be a woman or gay." But no-one seems to be able to explain to me exactly what "feeling like a woman" feels like. I see people like Ellen Page transitioning and as soon as she does she starts getting her hair cut short, wearing jeans and t-shirts and looking like a skater boy. Back in the 90s men and women felt free enough to physically look like that without assigning a gender to that physical appearance.

Well … I paid for all of the drinks and dinner (on both dates, inc. entry to a jazz venue and comedy club), and then subsequently decided not see her again. She was offended that I hadn’t bothered to call her after we’d kissed (we hadn’t gone further, that had been her call, which I’d respected), I told her that I wasn’t offended by any of her actions, only that I’d prefer an equal non-judgemental female partner, who preferred me being a man. On a closing note, I do worry about what children are being taught in First World schools.

I am one of the millions of people in America who clearly understands that a "woman" is a person who was born with a vagina and almost undoubtedly has an XX Chromosome. This is a biological fact. Also, while I do not think we should deliberately try to stigmatize transgender persons, I also think that we live in a society where there also needs to be rules and laws in place which understand that men and women are biologically different and need to be separate. That means I do not believe "trans women" should be allowed in women's bathrooms, on women's sports teams or in women's prisons.
My problem with your definition of a women is not sound because not every women is born with xx chromosomes. What about the women born with xxx chromosomes or the women born with x chromosomes? Would you still count them as women? What about the men who are born with xxy chromosomes, would they be considered men even though they have enlarged breasts and produce almost no sperm? What about the male children born in the Dominican Republic who go through changes during puberty (about age12) such as testes dropping and growing a penis? Would they not be considered a women since they were not born with a full grown penis and also looked female at birth? There is no clear answer for what is a woman and what is a man because there is so much genetic variation to be considered that actually happens to more of the population than people think. This is not a black and white thing, there are definitely shades of gray.

Another question I would love to see some of these "doctors" answer, is what if a 14 year old girl came into your office and proclaimed that she hates children and knows she will never want to have children, and wants a hysterectomy so she never has to worry about birth control, would you agree to the hysterectomy? There was a time in this country when any doctor who agreed would lose their license, but I honestly don't know nowadays. I feel like they'd probably be like, okay, cool, we'll set up a date.
they won't. i think most hospitals will not do elective hysterectomies or even tubal ligations on women (or females, whatever) of childbearing age without there being medical necessity. I'm not entirely sure if i agree with that or not, but it's true.
At 14 one can consent to medical and mental health treatment. This wouldn’t happen because doctors can’t even give hysterectomies or tubal ligation to a woman under 35 if she hasn’t given birth to at least 2 children.

@@tessalee6253 this is not true. In order to get transition surgery a person MUST be 18. They must have been in treatment for at least 2 years and MUST undergo a minimum of 6 hours interview with an approved doctor or psychologist. Once this is complete the provider gives a letter clearing them psychologically for surgery. Then the insurance company and surgeon review all information before the person can be approved for surgery. Then the person must wait a few more months minimum before actually getting surgery. Just clearing up the misinformation being spread online.

I think the confusion people are having is they or the people they get their information from tend to conflate 3 categories into one thing, 1. Biological make-up, or what's between your legs, 2. If you say my identity is female, great but you just said I identify as a vagina. Or an egg producer. That's not an identity most people intend to describe themselves as.
In the argument of trans allowed in women's restrooms; If a father is out with their toddler daughter and she needs to use the restroom, is the father in his rights to go into the restroom with her to protect her? Well that's just socially and morally wrong, isn't it? Why can't these supporters of this movement see the damage they will cause by allowing trans into a woman's restroom?
What baffled me is that all the interviews ended the same way: he would ask a super-obvious question and they'd go, "this interview is over!" It was so obvious that these people have never logically worked through their ideology.

Provide a definition of a road that includes all roads but excludes all streets, stroads, highways, ramps, pathways, etc... This can even be explained with chairs. What is a chair? Something with 4 legs that you can sit on. My desk has four legs and can be sat on, some chairs do not have 4 legs, some chairs have backs and some don't, etc... I have to lay the foundation that sex and gender are two separate things (while being generally related). Sex is your biological characteristics (male/female) which is determined by various factors along with chromosomes. Sex is a bimodal spectrum, it is not binary. I say it is not binary because intersex people, while rare, exist. Addressing your definition that a woman is a (human, adult, female, XX chromosome, female reproductive organs). The claim that it's been the same for thousands of years is not really relevant because there have been many definitions that have changed with time. What it means to be a person, what it means to be white, etc... I think the vast majority of people would agree on the human part of your definition. As for being an adult, again, what it means to be an adult varies throughout history and across various cultures. I do recognize that there is a distinction between a woman and a girl, but I don't believe there is some concrete, objective definition that everyone would agree on. When you say female, again this is equating sex with gender. Someone's sex can be female, and usually that would mean they are a woman, but not always. I'd then ask you what does it mean to be a female? My understanding is that the scientific community does not just use chromosomes to determine sex because of how much variation there can be. There are people with XXY chromosomes, XXX, XYY, XXYY, XXXY, XXXX, XXXXY, and XXXXX. Many people with these chromosomes and intersex people by simply saying that they're rare. People like this existing means that sex is bimodal (most but not all people are XX or XY). When you say people with XX chromosomes would you include people with XXY chromosomes? This is why this gets much more complicated then many people understand. The simple understanding is men are males and women are females, but what a male and female is, is much more complicated then people think. Furthermore, most people can make assumptions about whether a person is a man or a woman by looking at them. You can't see people's chromosomes, so I don't think chromosomes are really the metric in which we identify men and women. Additionally, the complexities I mentioned previously make chromosomes not very useful. When it comes to female reproductive organs, some women are born without a uterus or have it removed; some women are born without ovaries. Some women have ovaries and a uterus but might also have testicles or grow facial hair (intersex/Klinefelter's). If a person with a uterus has their uterus removed, does that change their gender? You'd likely say no, and argue it is because they had it in the first place. However, as I stated some people are born infertile or without some organs. Again, while this is rare, it happens. My understanding of gender is how people are viewed by the world, and how they identify themselves. What does it mean to be a woman? Women like pink and wear dresses, women are caring and enjoy sewing and cooking, etc... However, there is nothing inherent about being a women that means they should wear dresses or cook, these things are social roles imposed by society and created culturally. Therefore, when it comes to transgender people, they have a discomfort with how they view themselves does not match their biology. If a person strongly identifies themselves with womanhood and the roles that are associated with being a woman, but they have the biology of a man, this leads to a lot of discomfort and suffering. This is why I believe that they should be allowed to identify with the gender they want to, especially since gender is socially constructed. Would be interested to hear your thoughts. Sorry this became kind of long, but this issue is much more complicated than people like Matt Walsh make it out to be.

I’m defining female as biologists do in any species: the sex who is designed for carrying infants from fetal development to birth; the male designed for insemination. But I’m only calling you “female” in the psychological context and acknowledging that your psyche is female. I’m not going to pretend you are a “real woman” in every sense, including biologically, and further pretend that heterosexual men are normally attracted to a “woman with a penis”. I see nothing wrong with being a real trans woman. Gender ideology is rooted in the same Post Modernism philosophy as all the woke/social justice ideologies, and I take issue with it because it’s predicated on destroying objective reason, where any truth or definition can mean anything you want it to mean as an arbitrary expression of power. There’s no limits to what you can justify or claim. It is the polar opposite of the scientific method, which has proven itself time and again to be the most reliable and effective method of solving problems and finding definitive truths. Your computer example is disanalogous to the situation we are talking about. If we really wanted to talk computers then we could say there is hardware and software. Hardware is either a Apple PC with Apple parts or a Microsoft PC with Microsoft parts (PCs are more complicated, but for simplicity). Most Apple PCs will have all Apple parts and most Microsoft PCs will have all Microsoft parts. However, somehow in production like 2% of PCs on both sides might get parts from the other PC or they might be missing parts. An Apple PC with mostly Apple parts is still an Apple PC even if it has a Microsoft hard drive. These are all physical things that come with the PC when it is created. However, users can chose to have either MAC os or Windows os. Most Apple users will pick Mac os and most Windows users will pick Windows os. However, maybe someone after using MAC os decides that Windows os would work better for them and they decide to switch over. They still have an Apple computer, it just is using Windows os now. (This example got very messy but I tried to go with your computer example). The primary thing is much like hardware and software are different, and changing software does not change hardware; sex and gender are different, and changing gender does not change your sex. Even if hardware generally relates to software, like how sex generally relates to gender. Womanhood and manhood have repeatedly be redefined throughout history and vary across different cultures. Some cultures have had 3rd genders, some cultures did not make considered you to simply be a child until you came of age, gender is different from sex. Much in the same way race has been redefined throughout history, gender has as well. We are not redefining sex, we are redefining gender. You keep doing this thing where you interchange sex and gender and its causing a lot of problems. You say " Few of us have a problem with them identifying as a female gender", Female is not a gender. I am not arguing that transgender women's biology just changes and makes them female. They are real women but they are not female. The same type of arguments were made about black people after they received rights. " I will respect black people and call them people, but they are not 'real people'". When you say you'll identify them as a woman, and call them a woman but they aren't real women; demonstrates you're just patronizing them. I ask you, what is the difference between a trans woman and a "real woman", not males vs females; trans women vs "real women"? No children are going through transition surgery. Trans youth have the option to take puberty blockers which delays their puberty, allowing them more time to decide if they want to fully transition. If they don't, then they will go through a normal puberty with potential reduced bone density and in rare instances other complications. Puberty blockers exists to prevent youth from going through puberty of that their gender identity does not align with. If you feel that you are a man and yet your breasts are developing and you're having periods, that is harmful to your mental health, especially as a child! Furthermore, children have to be demonstrate gender incongruence for at least 6 months to be diagnosed and potentially receive puberty blockers. Then they have to go through more to start using HRT (which has more permanent effects). However, I'd argue that puberty blockers and HRT is better than trans youth killing themselves because they're forced be something they aren't. I watched Matt Walsh's dumbass documentary and was saddened by how spineless the majority of the people he spoke to were. I was saddened to see how weak their arguments are, but that doesn't really matter. The statistics show that de-transitioning is extremely rare, and the majority of times it occurs is due to either medical costs or social factors like people saying they aren't "real women". While de-transitioning is sad and unfortunate, I'd rather a small minority of people regret transitioning then have significantly more people be depressed and kill themselves because they are forced to live as something they aren't. In your entire statement you repeatedly equate sex and gender. You talk about how you can't change sex, and biology; but that is not what I am arguing. What makes a trans woman not a "real woman"?
I agree 100% that people that feel they are in a wrong body need psychological support, yet unfortunately the same medical system supports them and goes along. I know of someone that expressed she expressed that she felt like male when she was 16 and wished for her breasts to be removed and Kaiser Permanente and her family immediately made her wish a reality. When my daughter told me the same when she was 17 and I booked 10 psychological appointments out our my own pocket, yet she refused them and went to live with her father who unfortunately had the Kaiser Permanente coverage. I was denied any information and not included in any decision making. I know from third parties that she started taking hormones about a year ago, I do not know if they removed her breasts because she strange herself from me and someone tells me that after 16 they are independent to make those decisions without parents consent. There is a lot of money to be made from every individual that expresses gender dysphoria and think that they will feel better by changing their body. While I was younger I did not like my body and wished I was taller, had ebony lustrous hair and blue eyes... Imagine if the medical system would have jump a the opportunity to fulfill my wish and add about a foot to my height, remove my brown eyes and substitute them for blue ones as well as somehow change my hair color for a lustrous ebony black. I think, that we all have wish one time or another that things were different and had the delusion that by obtaining such, we would be happy... Unfortunately, I was unable to prevent my child from the course she has taken, all I have left is to pray that someone or something helps her disengage mentally from the madness before there are irreparable consequences. My heart aches and it feels as if my beautiful daughter has vanished and wonder if I will ever see her again. What is a woman? I asked myself... Woman = "she who suckles" Being a woman is a form of initiation : A woman "knows" she is a woman when her first moon cycle arrives (menstruation) which announces that you are ripe and you can join you mother in the line of humanity. Men do not have that privilege of knowing so clearly when they become man. Maybe men castrating themselves to become "women" and women mutilating their breasts and their arms to become "men" is signaling a much deeper problem: how lost we feel in our current world and how disconnected we have become from each other within our community. I remember seeing a science type show years ago about the limb rejection thing and there was a person somewhere in Europe where they actually did the surgery and removed a perfectly good leg. There were some people who put tourniquets on their limbs to cut off the blood flow so it would die and the hospital would have to cut it off. Really bizarre stuff and obviously mental issues going on.
The psychiatry field is losing credibility by classifying one thing as a disorder while transgenderism which clearly has a parallel to that limb amputation thing is considered perfectly fine

Some time in the 80s we began to understand sexual "behavior" in terms of "identity." Of course this was and remains a partial. In principle you could have someone who identifies as a rapist -and then create a "community" of such people and so forth. Obviously this would be problematic for biological women just as trans women are in sports. It amounts to a kind of inverse intersectionality. In fact one could do this with stealing and almost any behavior ordinary people reject. It is not hard to imagine. "You want to keep you own possessions? You must be a kleptophobe."

Fair enough you have the same understanding that so many people have. But the trans culture is not directly associated with not being 'straight' as in heterosexual. It is (roughly) about Gender Identity Disorder. So, say a biological man, who is being referred to as a man, recorded as male at birth and having the physiology of a man and the genes of a man - is nevertheless convinced that they are a woman that just had the misfortune to be born with male genes and a male body. So what you refer to as "straight" is connected to which sex (normally male or female or both) that you are attracted to. Trans people and the many who advocate for them would call you "cis" if you are (statistically) normal in so far as you do not feel that the body you were born with is alien to, because it does not match the gender that you believe you belong to. Jeez... It's hardly surprising that most of the population have little knowledge of these issues. The other common misconception is that most or many many transsexual folk ultimately have a "sex change" in the genital area. They don't. Or at least the vast majority do not have their penis removed, or (for transmen) an approximation of penis appendage surgically constructed. (though in the latter case, more do manage to persuade surgeons to cut off their breasts) But on reflection, I suppose it might be argued that "straight" is not such a bad antonym for "trans". Or certainly an understandable error. The tangle can get worse... What if you were to ask grandma (or even just average Joe on the street) to explain what they reckoned the phrase "trans femme lesbian" indicated? (Yes they are not uncommon as a proportion of transwomen) ... Head scratching... 😬 Well it would indicate a person born male, that identifies and presents as a woman (~99% of whom retain a penis) and is sexually attracted to women. Which is one of the "complications" that engender so much fury among (statistically) normal women that seek to protect their safe spaces such as changing rooms (particularly any communal private female spaces) and everyone else that is alert to sexual assault risks... the need to preserve dignity and so on.
Of course, the core purpose of pride is not to celebrate gay sexuality per se, but to make a statement about the right for gay people to be fully accepted by society. Pride in being 'gay' is simply a direct counter to shame, not their own, but the shame they were told they were supposed to feel. Gay people don't literally feel 'proud' because they happen to naturally desire people of the same sex. They feel proud that they can walk down the street and not be shamed by others. That is an actual achievement.
Because there was a time when they were denied employment, marriage, parenthood, and even beaten and killed just for their sexual preferences. A straight person can't say any of that has happened for being straight. Ever hear of Matthew Shepard? That is a perfect example as to why.
Imagine a group of women having a private chat. The conversation would go 'so'. Now add a trans woman. The conversation would change track, become constrained, because the trans woman could not fully fit or share their common experiences. The trans woman is not less of a 'person'. Just not a woman.

The folks in the film that said they are "women", will never understand the pain, the trials, and suffering that comes with being an ACTUAL woman. I'm so glad that this question is finally being asked. I'm just an average man on the street, not political in any way, and the one thing I've been asking for years is "what does "feeling like a woman" actually mean?" Is it based on stereotypes of makeup, dresses, pink girly things? I thought we had moved beyond such offensive stereotyping of people - "if you like pink things and ballet dancing you must be a woman or gay." But no-one seems to be able to explain to me exactly what "feeling like a woman" feels like. I see people like Ellen Page transitioning and as soon as she does she starts getting her hair cut short, wearing jeans and t-shirts and looking like a skater boy. Back in the 90s men and women felt free enough to physically look like that without assigning a gender to that physical appearance.
I do think that every woman would answer that question differently. Biologically a woman is someone born with a vagina, xx chromosome, a womb etc etc.

I dated a teacher a while ago, she (female) decided I was being: “such a man”, and “too male”, I didn’t feel offended, as I am a man, and I’d remained respectful and gentlemanly. She hated the word lady, and wanted me to stop and instead use “women”. Well … I paid for all of the drinks and dinner (on both dates, inc. entry to a jazz venue and comedy club), and then subsequently decided not see her again. She was offended that I hadn’t bothered to call her after we’d kissed (we hadn’t gone further, that had been her call, which I’d respected), I told her that I wasn’t offended by any of her actions, only that I’d prefer an equal non-judgemental female partner, who preferred me being a man. On a closing note, I do worry about what children are being taught in First World schools.

I am one of the millions of people in America who clearly understands that a "woman" is a person who was born with a vagina and almost undoubtedly has an XX Chromosome. This is a biological fact. Also, while I do not think we should deliberately try to stigmatize transgender persons, I also think that we live in a society where there also needs to be rules and laws in place which understand that men and women are biologically different and need to be separate. That means I do not believe "trans women" should be allowed in women's bathrooms, on women's sports teams or in women's prisons.

My problem with your definition of a women is not sound because not every women is born with xx chromosomes. What about the women born with xxx chromosomes or the women born with x chromosomes? Would you still count them as women? What about the men who are born with xxy chromosomes, would they be considered men even though they have enlarged breasts and produce almost no sperm? What about the male children born in the Dominican Republic who go through changes during puberty (about age12) such as testes dropping and growing a penis? Would they not be considered a women since they were not born with a full grown penis and also looked female at birth?
There is no clear answer for what is a woman and what is a man because there is so much genetic variation to be considered that actually happens to more of the population than people think. This is not a black and white thing, there are definitely shades of gray.

Another question I would love to see some of these "doctors" answer, is what if a 14 year old girl came into your office and proclaimed that she hates children and knows she will never want to have children, and wants a hysterectomy so she never has to worry about birth control, would you agree to the hysterectomy? There was a time in this country when any doctor who agreed would lose their license, but I honestly don't know nowadays. I feel like they'd probably be like, okay, cool, we'll set up a date.
they won't. i think most hospitals will not do elective hysterectomies or even tubal ligations on women (or females, whatever) of childbearing age without there being medical necessity. I'm not entirely sure if i agree with that or not, but it's true.
At 14 one can consent to medical and mental health treatment. This wouldn’t happen because doctors can’t even give hysterectomies or tubal ligation to a woman under 35 if she hasn’t given birth to at least 2 children.

They must have been in treatment for at least 2 years and MUST undergo a minimum of 6 hours interview with an approved doctor or psychologist. Once this is complete the provider gives a letter clearing them psychologically for surgery. Then the insurance company and surgeon review all information before the person can be approved for surgery. Then the person must wait a few more months minimum before actually getting surgery. Just clearing up the misinformation being spread online.

In the argument of trans allowed in women's restrooms; If a father is out with their toddler daughter and she needs to use the restroom, is the father in his rights to go into the restroom with her to protect her? My answer is the same as it's been for thousands of years: an adult human female with an XX chromosome who's biology is designed with female reproductive organs. Words & concepts don't magically disappear just because 5 years ago a niche ideology suddenly decided to erase it.

Provide a definition of a road that includes all roads but excludes all streets, stroads, highways, ramps, pathways, etc... This can even be explained with chairs. What is a chair? Something with 4 legs that you can sit on. My desk has four legs and can be sat on, some chairs do not have 4 legs, some chairs have backs and some don't, etc...
I have to lay the foundation that sex and gender are two separate things (while being generally related). Sex is your biological characteristics (male/female) which is determined by various factors along with chromosomes. Sex is a bimodal spectrum, it is not binary. I say it is not binary because intersex people, while rare, exist. Addressing your definition that a woman is a (human, adult, female, XX chromosome, female reproductive organs). The claim that it's been the same for thousands of years is not really relevant because there have been many definitions that have changed with time. What it means to be a person, what it means to be white, etc...
I think the vast majority of people would agree on the human part of your definition. As for being an adult, again, what it means to be an adult varies throughout history and across various cultures. I do recognize that there is a distinction between a woman and a girl, but I don't believe there is some concrete, objective definition that everyone would agree on. When you say female, again this is equating sex with gender. Someone's sex can be female, and usually that would mean they are a woman, but not always. I'd then ask you what does it mean to be a female?
My understanding is that the scientific community does not just use chromosomes to determine sex because of how much variation there can be. There are people with XXY chromosomes, XXX, XYY, XXYY, XXXY, XXXX, XXXXY, and XXXXX. Many people with these chromosomes and intersex people by simply saying that they're rare. People like this existing means that sex is bimodal (most but not all people are XX or XY). When you say people with XX chromosomes would you include people with XXY chromosomes? This is why this gets much more complicated then many people understand. The simple understanding is men are males and women are females, but what a male and female is, is much more complicated then people think.
Furthermore, most people can make assumptions about whether a person is a man or a woman by looking at them. You can't see people's chromosomes, so I don't think chromosomes are really the metric in which we identify men and women. Additionally, the complexities I mentioned previously make chromosomes not very useful. When it comes to female reproductive organs, some women are born without a uterus or have it removed; some women are born without ovaries. Some women have ovaries and a uterus but might also have testicles or grow facial hair (intersex/Klinefelter's). If a person with a uterus has their uterus removed, does that change their gender? You'd likely say no, and argue it is because they had it in the first place. However, as I stated some people are born infertile or without some organs. Again, while this is rare, it happens.
My understanding of gender is how people are viewed by the world, and how they identify themselves. What does it mean to be a woman? Women like pink and wear dresses, women are caring and enjoy sewing and cooking, etc... However, there is nothing inherent about being a women that means they should wear dresses or cook, these things are social roles imposed by society and created culturally.
Therefore, when it comes to transgender people, they have a discomfort with how they view themselves does not match their biology. If a person strongly identifies themselves with womanhood and the roles that are associated with being a woman, but they have the biology of a man, this leads to a lot of discomfort and suffering. This is why I believe that they should be allowed to identify with the gender they want to, especially since gender is socially constructed.
Would be interested to hear your thoughts. Sorry this became kind of long, but this issue is much more complicated than people like Matt Walsh make it out to be.

I’m defining female as biologists do in any species: the sex who is designed for carrying infants from fetal development to birth; the male designed for insemination. I'm referring to the sex, not the gender.
If you want to identify as a female because you feel like a woman in a man’s body, that’s fine. But I’m only calling you “female” in the psychological context and acknowledging that your psyche is female. I’m not going to pretend you are a “real woman” in every sense, including biologically, and further pretend that heterosexual men are normally attracted to a “woman with a penis”. I see nothing wrong with being a real trans woman.
Gender ideology is rooted in the same Post Modernism philosophy as all the woke/social justice ideologies, and I take issue with it because it’s predicated on destroying objective reason, where any truth or definition can mean anything you want it to mean as an arbitrary expression of power. There’s no limits to what you can justify or claim. It is the polar opposite of the scientific method, which has proven itself time and again to be the most reliable and effective method of solving problems and finding definitive truths.
The post-modernist gender ideology’s reasoning is based on the absurd notion that every truth is disproved if you can find a single exception in the rarest circumstance. It isn’t. If a Ferrari factory builds 20,000 Ferraris, designed with 8 pistons and one of those 20,000 Ferraris is accidentally produced with 7 pistons, that doesn’t erase the Ferrari’s definition as a car with 8 pistons, it means one of them had a manufacturing error.
The “biological sex is a myth” claim is based on the same absurdity that _everybody’s_ sex is disproved by the existence of the 1 in a million intersex people. They don’t disprove the existence of biological sex, they prove the existence of rare anomalies where someone is born a mix of the two.
There was a university study where they recorded the outcomes of coin flips and found that 1 in 6,000 times, the coin would land on its edge. The conclusion of the study was not, “therefore heads and tails don’t exist and you can’t say which side of the coin is facing up.”
If a woman is born without ovaries or has their uterus removed, they are still a woman because they are designed with the overall components of a woman + a design flaw. My computer is still a computer if the processor melts down, it’s just a broken computer.

When you lie for the “greater good”, it always inevitably runs away to greater & greater absurdities until they turn into injustices, like convincing 13 year old kids to irreversibly biologically alter themselves. No child is experienced or competent enough to make a permanent decision to become infertile for life and potentially be trapped in the wrong body with a lifetime of medical complications. They aren’t warned about all the potential dangers, pitfalls, negative consequences; they are told “if you don’t feel like you fit it, this could make everything better and you’ll be treated like a hero!”
I don’t suppose you actually watched What Is A Woman? You can torrent it from P*rateB*y [dot] org. Later into the movie it details some rather horrific consequences that transitioners can face, from the mouth of someone who went through it, just like the thousands of users on trans support forums who are traumatized because they were duped into it as children.
Show compassion for trans people by acknowledging and accepting them as trans-women/men, not by redefining all of reality to whatever delusion seems nicest. We are seeing the very real consequences of where that has led, while the trans-affirming ideologues suppress & hide it at all cost.

I never claimed biological sex is a myth, my point was that sex is not a binary it is bimodal. You're doing the very thing I brought up which is disregarding the existence of intersex people because they are rare. Therefore, to say women don't have testicles, while generally true, is not always the case. When you talk about definitive truth, I'd ask you simply; what is a chair? Provide me with a definitive answer for what a chair is. On the surface is seems easy, but it is vastly more complex when you get into it.
Your computer example is disanalogous to the situation we are talking about. If we really wanted to talk computers then we could say there is hardware and software. Hardware is either a Apple PC with Apple parts or a Microsoft PC with Microsoft parts (PCs are more complicated, but for simplicity). Most Apple PCs will have all Apple parts and most Microsoft PCs will have all Microsoft parts. However, somehow in production like 2% of PCs on both sides might get parts from the other PC or they might be missing parts. An Apple PC with mostly Apple parts is still an Apple PC even if it has a Microsoft hard drive. These are all physical things that come with the PC when it is created. However, users can chose to have either MAC os or Windows os. Most Apple users will pick Mac os and most Windows users will pick Windows os. However, maybe someone after using MAC os decides that Windows os would work better for them and they decide to switch over. They still have an Apple computer, it just is using Windows os now. (This example got very messy but I tried to go with your computer example). The primary thing is much like hardware and software are different, and changing software does not change hardware; sex and gender are different, and changing gender does not change your sex. Even if hardware generally relates to software, like how sex generally relates to gender.
Womanhood and manhood have repeatedly be redefined throughout history and vary across different cultures. Some cultures have had 3rd genders, some cultures did not make considered you to simply be a child until you came of age, gender is different from sex. Much in the same way race has been redefined throughout history, gender has as well. We are not redefining sex, we are redefining gender. You keep doing this thing where you interchange sex and gender and its causing a lot of problems. You say " Few of us have a problem with them identifying as a female gender", Female is not a gender. I am not arguing that transgender women's biology just changes and makes them female. They are real women but they are not female. The same type of arguments were made about black people after they received rights. " I will respect black people and call them people, but they are not 'real people'". When you say you'll identify them as a woman, and call them a woman but they aren't real women; demonstrates you're just patronizing them. I ask you, what is the difference between a trans woman and a "real woman", not males vs females; trans women vs "real women"?
No children are going through transition surgery. Trans youth have the option to take puberty blockers which delays their puberty, allowing them more time to decide if they want to fully transition. If they don't, then they will go through a normal puberty with potential reduced bone density and in rare instances other complications. Puberty blockers exists to prevent youth from going through puberty of that their gender identity does not align with. If you feel that you are a man and yet your breasts are developing and you're having periods, that is harmful to your mental health, especially as a child! Furthermore, children have to be demonstrate gender incongruence for at least 6 months to be diagnosed and potentially receive puberty blockers. Then they have to go through more to start using HRT (which has more permanent effects). However, I'd argue that puberty blockers and HRT is better than trans youth killing themselves because they're forced be something they aren't.
I watched Matt Walsh's dumbass documentary and was saddened by how spineless the majority of the people he spoke to were. I was saddened to see how weak their arguments are, but that doesn't really matter. The statistics show that de-transitioning is extremely rare, and the majority of times it occurs is due to either medical costs or social factors like people saying they aren't "real women". While de-transitioning is sad and unfortunate, I'd rather a small minority of people regret transitioning then have significantly more people be depressed and kill themselves because they are forced to live as something they aren't.

I agree 100% that people that feel they are in a wrong body need psychological support, yet unfortunately the same medical system supports them and goes along. I know of someone that expressed she expressed that she felt like male when she was 16 and wished for her breasts to be removed and Kaiser Permanente and her family immediately made her wish a reality.
When my daughter told me the same when she was 17 and I booked 10 psychological appointments out our my own pocket, yet she refused them and went to live with her father who unfortunately had the Kaiser Permanente coverage. I was denied any information and not included in any decision making. I know from third parties that she started taking hormones about a year ago, I do not know if they removed her breasts because she strange herself from me and someone tells me that after 16 they are independent to make those decisions without parents consent.
There is a lot of money to be made from every individual that expresses gender dysphoria and think that they will feel better by changing their body. While I was younger I did not like my body and wished I was taller, had ebony lustrous hair and blue eyes... Imagine if the medical system would have jump a the opportunity to fulfill my wish and add about a foot to my height, remove my brown eyes and substitute them for blue ones as well as somehow change my hair color for a lustrous ebony black. I think, that we all have wish one time or another that things were different and had the delusion that by obtaining such, we would be happy... Unfortunately, I was unable to prevent my child from the course she has taken, all I have left is to pray that someone or something helps her disengage mentally from the madness before there are irreparable consequences. My heart aches and it feels as if my beautiful daughter has vanished and wonder if I will ever see her again.

Being a woman is a form of initiation : A woman "knows" she is a woman when her first moon cycle arrives (menstruation) which announces that you are ripe and you can join you mother in the line of humanity.
Men do not have that privilege of knowing so clearly when they become man.

I remember seeing a science type show years ago about the limb rejection thing and there was a person somewhere in Europe where they actually did the surgery and removed a perfectly good leg. There were some people who put tourniquets on their limbs to cut off the blood flow so it would die and the hospital would have to cut it off. Really bizarre stuff and obviously mental issues going on.

Some time in the 80s we began to understand sexual "behavior" in terms of "identity." Of course this was and remains a partial. In principle you could have someone who identifies as a rapist -and then create a "community" of such people and so forth. Obviously this would be problematic for biological women just as trans women are in sports. It amounts to a kind of inverse intersectionality. Fair enough you have the same understanding that so many people have. But the trans culture is not directly associated with not being 'straight' as in heterosexual. It is (roughly) about Gender Identity Disorder. So, say a biological man, who is being referred to as a man, recorded as male at birth and having the physiology of a man and the genes of a man - is nevertheless convinced that they are a woman that just had the misfortune to be born with male genes and a male body.
So what you refer to as "straight" is connected to which sex (normally male or female or both) that you are attracted to. Trans people and the many who advocate for them would call you "cis" if you are (statistically) normal in so far as you do not feel that the body you were born with is alien to, because it does not match the gender that you believe you belong to. Jeez... It's hardly surprising that most of the population have little knowledge of these issues. The other common misconception is that most or many many transsexual folk ultimately have a "sex change" in the genital area. They don't. Or at least the vast majority do not have their penis removed, or (for transmen) an approximation of penis appendage surgically constructed. (though in the latter case, more do manage to persuade surgeons to cut off their breasts)
But on reflection, I suppose it might be argued that "straight" is not such a bad antonym for "trans". Or certainly an understandable error. The tangle can get worse... What if you were to ask grandma (or even just average Joe on the street) to explain what they reckoned the phrase "trans femme lesbian" indicated? (Yes they are not uncommon as a proportion of transwomen) ... Head scratching... 😬 Well it would indicate a person born male, that identifies and presents as a woman (~99% of whom retain a penis) and is sexually attracted to women. Which is one of the "complications" that engender so much fury among (statistically) normal women that seek to protect their safe spaces such as changing rooms (particularly any communal private female spaces) and everyone else that is alert to sexual assault risks... the need to preserve dignity and so on.
A person's sexual orientation is not anything to be 'proud' of or to 'celebrate'. It is one of the least interesting things about a person.
Of course, the core purpose of pride is not to celebrate gay sexuality per se, but to make a statement about the right for gay people to be fully accepted by society. Pride in being 'gay' is simply a direct counter to shame, not their own, but the shame they were told they were supposed to feel. Gay people don't literally feel 'proud' because they happen to naturally desire people of the same sex. They feel proud that they can walk down the street and not be shamed by others. That is an actual achievement.
Because there was a time when they were denied employment, marriage, parenthood, and even beaten and killed just for their sexual preferences. A straight person can't say any of that has happened for being straight. Ever hear of Matthew Shepard? That is a perfect example as to why.
Imagine a group of women having a private chat. The conversation would go 'so'. Now add a trans woman. The conversation would change track, become constrained, because the trans woman could not fully fit or share their common experiences. The trans woman is not less of a 'person'. Just not a woman.
