Hola de nuevo Realidad, thanks for your question. In order to answer you accurately, context is key. If you're asking if you can use this pedal in front of a heavily distorted amp, and the result you want is a wall of sound with a high mix, then sure. If you're asking if you can use this pedal in the effects loop for leads, then yes. If you're asking if you can play heavy rhythm through it, probably… but that depends on how many repeats, how high the mix is, etc. Bottom line is, depending on how you set it, it could work just fine. Similar to any delay pedal in that regard. Please contact me direct for a deeper discussion. Sweetwater It’s cool that you guys actually take the time to answer people’s questions on your videos. I’ve bought stuff from your company before and it’s always been a pleasure, I can tell you guys definitely care about your customers, which is unfortunately a rarity these days.
Thanks for your question, Vik. Hope you and yours are safe and well. Apologies for the late reply. The current version of the Obscura doesn't have an external jack for tap tempo. All the jacks are dedicated to audio in/out. Please contact us again with other questions as you have them. Hola, Realidad! Thanks for your question. The Toneprint function is a convenient way to insert all kinds of settings on the pedal that you may not have thought of. Using the editor gives you far more control than from the knobs on the pedal. All that said, the Obscura is a totally different vibe than the Flashback. If you want that sound, then the TC will be an approximation. Please contact me direct for more discussion. @@sweetwater so many thanks for your answer. I was thinking about a delay that goes well with high gain solos but without forgeting about a good clean setting.
Hi timearchitecture. The LEVEL knob on the Obscura only adjusts the Delay's volume level. The Dry signal remains at unity gain (except in Reverse Mode where the Dry signal is killed). Thanks for watching! -_Daniel_
One of the best demos ive seen of this pedal. Clearly explaining the features. And in about 6 minutes!!! Nice. Been here 4 yrs and 17 comments? Odd.
Love this pedal. Sounds great. Only four types of delay, but all of them are high quality.Lots of character in it. All Digitech pedals are great.
one of the best pedals I seen.
My fave demo guy!!!! 👏🏻
Should there be a defined position for the reverse mode? My knob goes right past the reverse and stops between reverse and lofi?
Does It work well with high gain?

Does the level control the wet or the total wet+dry?
