    My pool is 45 year old concrete 47 x24 foot kidney shape. I only saw him pour Miratic acid. No brushing at all . I still see green on the walls before he filled it. I wouldnt be satifed. I still saw green on the wall. Heres my pool after I did it by brushing with a acid wash. I cant ccx attach a picture. Mine is mint blue with a white washed great job I did

      Awesome. My pool was white also after the final rinse. The video made have not showed the actual results but I was very satisfied with the results and it still remains stain free til this day. Brushing is definitely a great step and I am glad you did a great job. Very satisfying I am sure. Congrats!

    Even with masks.. in Florida's humidity which in the summer is almost always 100% would smother you. You'd have to have a mask that also introduces cool air to be able to deal with wearing one. Please show me where on is at because I work in Florida dealing with stains and this type of work so I am all down for learning.

      By the way... Acid washes in Florida's summers are horrendous. As in the humidity is so high that the vapors linger longer and you are basically trapped in it. Even with respirators.

    Hi, do you recommend pressure washing plastered surface to get off stubborn stains? Our pool has some stains from non use (about few years) and i am worried about not being able to get them off with just a hose

    • @florida4funshinechannel998
      @florida4funshinechannel998  3 роки тому +1

      I do not. Use pure chlorine in a sprayer bottle and spray it and rinse it with hose. . Use mask and gloves please.

    You need to be more specific with the instructions . Compadre explica mejor lo que hiciste y no lo dejes a la imaginación . Que productos usaste y la cantidad . If you not wear mask in your daily job it's OK but for the video you should use it because many people going to do the same you did . Tienes que dar un buen ejemplo .CUBANO

    Blue stains means copper. Probably poor water chemistry and ruined the coils in the heater too. Nice work. 👍

      Yes. I was told that the heater compressor was the culprit. A few safety lessons learned but overall very happy with the results . Still looks great in 2022.

    How much acid gallons did you use?

    Did you dilute the muriatic acid before applying?

    So where does all the acid that accumulates at the drain go?

    • @florida4funshinechannel998

      It is sucked up into a plastic tank reservoir by a pump as it drains to avoid spills

    Terrible job! You left that pull all street because you did not use the proper reduction ratio and you did not use a brush. You left that acid on way too long!

    Is that a "quartz" finish on the pool surface in this video by chance? I'm speaking above my pay-grade already even asking the question... Our pool inspector in the home we are buying (from long distance) says it is a quartz finish but it has some staining and light pitting; however, it is just cosmetic. If all I have to do is an acid wash then COOL!

    • @DELTAF182
      @DELTAF182 3 роки тому +1

      Be careful using acid it may expose to much of the aggregate.

    • @DELTAF182
      @DELTAF182 3 роки тому +1

      Pitting can be an effect of to much or acid not being diluted enough causing the finish to fall out

    What did you do with the puddle in the deep end that was left after the acid wash?

    • @florida4funshinechannel998
      @florida4funshinechannel998  4 роки тому

      Hello.
      Pumped and dried it with towel.
      Left it dry and cleaned any debris, dirt, sand with vacuum before refilling.
      Thanks

      You're better off adding baking soda to neutralize the acid. With pebble tek the acid pooled in the deep end will destroy the pebble and make it super rough.
      Also this dude doesn't even wear a respirator. Fly by night and wouldn't trust them with my pool

      Hello.
      I agree. A regular mask would not have helped. Dual cartridge mask is designed to protect against Muriatic Acid vapors and unfortunately he did not wear it.
      This was not a good choice but it was his and I respect that.
      Having said that, Most people use the wrong mask for their projects and even for what the nation and the world is going thru now. It is not about wearing a mask , it is wearing the correct mask for the job. Thanks
