I'm eager to see Jalen Wright for the first time. We are STACKED at RB. The only thing that concerns me is that almost all of the roster are warm weather players. Not good for a team who has to play on cold turf in December.

Aug. 20th, 2024 They released Salvon Ahmed today. I hope they bring him back. They could have used him the other day when they ran out of RBs. Brooks has an injury. Ahmed has done plenty for this team.

Btw, Achane will be our Christian McCaffrey-like player this season. He’s got to stay healthy though. Also, Jaylen Wright will turn some heads this season. Not like what Achane did last year, but very impressive for a rookie. #GoFins ✋️😃🐬🏈
As much as I love having so much speed and talent at the skill positions at every level on the field which allows McD to scheme up plays to get one of these guys free in open space. That only works when Tua has protection and time for the play to develop or the holes to open. The OL is thin and an injury or 2 especially at the interior spots will wreak havoc on this offense similar to last season when Williams went down, his injury brought the whole team down. The team should have resigned Williams and moved Brewer to G. Brewer would be great C backup if necessary and having these guys along with the other options would give us great flexibility to deal with potential injuries and still put a suitable OL out there. If Liam is our starting C at anytime during the season we are likely in big trouble. Unless he made some monstrous leap during offseason. Really shocks me that more attention isn’t focused on protecting your 212M player with major injury history…concussion being the forever concern. Getting ball out quick is great but only when that’s the plan and not to avoid the hits…there’s gotta be times he can hold the ball for the big plays to develop..that’s what keeps D’s off balance..if they know that ball is always on a clock, it’s our receiving group that’s gonna get CLOCKED! I hope the FB gods even out the injuries from last season and we have a healthy team for the majority. That’s not looking likely with the players that are already out. Healthy team equals SB dream. Tons of talent and ability, not always availability 🙈🤷🏻
