The O-line remains a problem- as it has been for a long time
More verbal leadership from head coach. Example titans game tell the offense that they must get2 first downs to win the game.
Dolphins Defense: LB - good, CB - good/depth problem, S- good, DL - problem. Let’s play it out and see what happens. Fins up!
Don't know why everyone loves Fangio. They say defense wins championships. He's been around 30 years and hasn't won a ring. We had plenty of talent last year but his scheme and coaching were horrible. Hope Weever can fix it.
10000%,..Fangio was HORRIBLE,..So hppy he went to my least favorite team the Eagles,.. ; )
Um, they broke the franchise record for sacks. So...
@@milton1448 We had a great DLine when healthy last yr,.
I expect the same production this yr as well with Chop added to the Mix~
Weaver 😊
I agree Fangio wasn’t horrible but he wasn’t dominant either. The problem with Fangio he has a big ego and is a my way or the highway type of coach. Never listened to his players and allowed them to freelance. Key point Ramsey should always cover the opponent’s best receiver and he didn’t allow that. I hear he is causing a stir in Philly already. He had good aspects but refused to be flexible.
Our ideal starting offensive line would be Armstead, Wynn, Brewer, R Jones(?), Austin Jackson
We know as fans that there's a pretty strong probability that Armstead and Wynn will not be available when the post season rolls around. We know Brewer is a far better run blocker than pass protector but how many of us believe Mike McDaniel will, at any point, lean on the run game and methodically wear down and demoralize opposing defenses? How many believe whoever starts at RG is going to consistently play at a high level without going down with an injury and how many trust AJ to step up his game and be trusted to not only allow Tua to fire off passes within the 1.9 second designated window but to begin to stalemate pass rushers effectively enough that Tua can confidently retreat a couple steps, move on to his second set of reads and start finding open receivers on their second moves now working the intermediate to deep parts of the field.
Jonnu Smith. Honorable mention: OBJ
When did they fix the o line. Hmmm
When are we going to realize that we have injured prone players? They are good but always injured
I believe Kendall Fuller will be a great addition for the defensive backfield..He is an upgrade from Xavien Howard..Howard was an all pro, but with age and injuries..He has been falling off the cliff..Fuller is in his prime, and I think we will benefit from his coverage ability...
With the Dolphins offense talent, they can score some points on most NFL teams. Their Defense struggled and couldn’t stop most offensives.
The defense played great for what we had the end of the year. That was tape and mirrors. Full strength we could have been better maybe
The Dolphins D should bounce back after one year of serving under Vic Fangio and whatever kind of limp-d*ck defense he was trying to put together here. Wilkins, Baker and Van Ginkel are a lot better players than many Fin fans realize and their absence will be felt. I think our defensive front can compensate for the downgrade at LB and the defensive backfield should be very solid. In the long run I like Mo Kamara to entrench himself as one of the starting edge guys, which is but another reason for me to continue to beat the drum to convert Jaelen Phillips to a 255 lb ILB. Kamara reminds me of a young Melvin Ingram whose natural skillset and use of leverage and power will become more and more problematic for offensive linemen as he refines all the technical details. He's not a speed around the corner guy every play that gets blown out on run plays and fizzles out as a pass rusher once he realizes his one trick isn't going to cut it. He has at least three techniques that he utilizes at an advanced level and will cause problems for even the good NFL OTs.
Fangio came in and kind of trashed AVG and Kader Kohou. It seems to me Kohou is still being discredited considering the body of work he's put together against good talent in live action. Fangio was not the right guy to bring in with that dud of a defense after assembling a roster full of salivating attack dogs running Flores' ready to bring the fight to the offense and steal the initiative on every play. The big mistake was crucifying Gerald Alexander for supporting Flores when he got axed instead of going directly to him and explaining why they are moving on to a new HC while imploring him to stay and run the D. If Flores had a competent GM that could have built a top 12 offensive line with the ability to run the ball effectively and Flores stepped back in and took the lead role of this unit, I think our defense that following year was going to challenge the 1985 Bears and 2000 Ravens for the greatest defense of all time. Unfortunately, Chuckles gave him no offense to complement the defense and that is what sunk Bryan Flores in Miami.
No issue with the offense? ROFL! Forget the collapse at the end of last season already?
Caleb Campbell I think his name is, Wilkins replacement.
Calais Campbell, getting old but still very productive.
Still need a solid QB and offensive line….
You should find an extra WNBA team to root for because Tua is going to be a Dolphin for the next 5 yrs,.lol~
@@matthewmatt5285 And he'll continue to fail in big moments and under bright lights. History is more important than 'hope'
@@milton1448 Just like Caitlin Clark huh?,.
Got it,..lol~
Jordyn Brooks
More passing options for Tua. Last season relying to much on Hill and Waddle. 3:39
Your using Armstead as the defining word ,are you serious. Terron sits on the side line most the year. Non participant, get real!
Like i theorized last year around this time. Fangio was paid to ruin our DEfense last year, for fear of us having that Anti Buffalo and KC team. #FinzUp
No problem with the offense…. 😳🤣🤣🤣… ‘1 and 8 against winning teams…. Don’t blame the defense for all those losses….
7 INTs for Jevon Holland this season.
Fangio being stubborn and not putting Jalen Ramsey on the best receiver cost us the year.
For more years of Medocrea …….lwith Tua….
Obj
Jonnu Smith TE. Wins us a Superbowl!
Jaylen phillips. Hell finally get a chanve to stay healthy and complete a season.
