I work with some young people and they are amazed at my collect call stories, pay phones, and when the TV used to "shut off" (go fuzzy) at midnight. They are amazed at that. It makes me feel so old!!!

😂 ha ha. Payphones Do you know I worked for the phone company for 20 years & when I first started, we had an actual ROOM where people would WASH all the coins in a huge sink before they were sent off to the bank? 😮 Yes!!! That division was part of CoinTel, so people were PAID to collect coins, clean then, tally up & roll them for bank deposits. Lol 😂 Man I feel old. Happy Easter Jodi 😊 🐰❤

You can also use a few ice cubes when you water indoor plants, it will be absorbed as it melts.
Don't worry about the daffodils they do ok in snow leave them in all year don't cut the leaves off till they go brown it feeds bulbs for next year and helps them split love watching the gardening videos

My son liked to tell younger ones about dial up! 😂. When it snowed, I thought of you! I recalled how pretty the crocus looked when I was a kiddo, poking through the snow. Nice memory.

The house my mom is in we moved into when I was in second grade. Which was the 80s. The house had daffodils to this day they grow every year even through snow. She lives in Illinois. So don't worry too much.

The pot you have has a false bottom on it , the bottom that you see is on there to prevent th e water from dripping all over your furniture. The drainage is mentioned be caught in there

Hi Jodi. I’m not new and I’m not working on a project now. I had shoulder surgery ten days ago so I’m on a lot of restrictions at the moment and pain meds lol. I had a bad rotator cuff tear and scar tissue from other surgeries. I’m in Cincinnati and our weather just keeps going warmer then cooler and cold at night. I can’t wait until it’s in the low 70’s and stays there. I love the tulips 🌷 that’s my mom’s favorite flower. Loved seeing Thomas and Clark. Take it easy 💜 Victoria

Hi wow they did so well congratulations. Need to get something like that for my tube. I've been working on my craft room it made several great videos. For Tiny Tidy Tuesday. I Love thementer program. I always look forward to your videos. Thanks for the update on the girls bowling team. I hope they were proud of themselves. You are much braver than I am when it comes to plants. The only thing I keep are pothos. I can't ever get those to be successful in dirt after I trim the long dangling vines off so all of mine grow in water now. After I watched your video of you deep cleaning your bathroom I thought of sharing some things that I do to help keep it clean. Of course I learned them from watching or reading somewhere else. One thing I read was that a key to keeping it clean is keeping it dry. I keep a squeegee hanging in my shower to help dry it off and then use the dirty towel to finish drying things off. Another thing I keep in there is one of those kitchen sink dish things. It has a sponge on the end and you put soap in the handle. The handle of mine has a mixture of blue Dawn and vinegar. I keep that hanging in there at all times. Then I also keep a scrub brush that is just for the shower. They all hang on the rack with the shampoo and stuff. You have to get used to making it part of your shower routine, but once it is it doesn't take any time at all. Maybe your husband would even get in on the act? I'd much rather do a little daily maintenance then a deep clean but everyone is different. I looked into these methods after I was doing a deep clean and it took forever to get it done.

My daffodils often have snowon them after they bloom. It'll be fine. Might take a little longer to bloom, but still will.

Hi Jodi, you are a trooper doing your girls bathroom! By the way, Donna Jean is getting so tall she's taller than you Jodi! I love your story about your grandson & your hubs out in the snow! Ha, Ha! That's cute about the pay telephone! I don't think we have any more here, in Eastern Washington! Love snapdragons. I tried the seeds plant ing last year! It was ok but I would rather just get starters & go from there. I was wondering about your prayer plant having a botton for it to breathe, but you figured it out! Yes your Tulips indoors are growing so fast! I think the daffodils don't last to long & then the Tulips come. My Irises or glads don't know for sure which is which are starting to come up! It's been up to 70's for a day maybe 2 but is still cold & I'm cold. My husband isn't. Or I just have a hard time getting warm untill it stays in the 70's then I'll be fine! It'll get hot enough when it does starts, so I'm ok with that. Seems like everyone wants to wear shorts & sandals & no coat starting in Jan or Feb. Not me. I used to be a telephone operator (for MCI, remember them?) and had those collect calls occasionally, not as often as you would think though! That picture of your husband was hilarious!! I thought I read that using tweezers is how some get those small seeds into the soil. I've never started seeds so I don't know!

I always enjoy your videos and plant updates! We warmed up then had freezing rain and 4 inches of snow. I ended up slipping on the ice and breaking my tailbone so my projects are all on hold for now. 🤦🏻♀️

Awesome Jodi. I went to Walmart and bought some plants, house plants. I finished painting the dining room and kitchen walls. I dusted the dining room, my bedroom and the living room walls. Girl the dust and dirt 😮It was embarrassing

Hi Jodi, i haven't been able to get much cleaning done, much less painting. Had the c crud for 2 weeks, finally over it. Now my pinched sciatic nerve is giving me horrible problems.
I have been asking my hubs to replace a light fixture in granddaughter's room so i can see to paint, for 6 months. I got advice from an retired electrician on how to do it myself. Once hubs realized what i was doing, he came and put it up. Lol. I guess i should have tried it sooner. Tomorrow i am planning on drilling that set screw out of the shower handle and fix it myself. Hi Jodi. 👋😎 Well, I had my dryer get knocked out by last Friday's high winds that took out the modem...I don't know how, probably a power surge BUT my lights never flickered. 😂
So cleaned out part of my laundry to get to back of dryer. Found out that a lot of dryer lint has been escaping behind the dryer. 😢 So as I can't climb behind it I used my Swiffer knock off from $tree. And cleaned all that up plus the floor...who knows how something spilled under the middle? Of the dryer!!!... my son tried to open the panel to see if it was the fuse BUT...NO FUSE???!!! just wires. Still doesn't work.😢
So deep cleaned the kitchen sink. Then onto the back porch because it looks like I'll be having to hang clothes for a while and because my son has pollen allergies, they have to be hung in an enclosed space.
I didn't get very far before I ran out of steam, tomorrow is 2weeks after my surgery so I'm ok with that. From inside door to outside door dewebbed, swept straightened and a full bag of trash out to curb. 6' length x approximately 3' plus another 3' square off that. Now I have to rig a way to dry clothes with what I have. Brain is cogitating HARD.
IF I can rig a holder for the wall side, then, I can set a pole on top of my garden supply shelf and I will have that space to hang clothes on hangers to dry.

Yes. It's a bummer when planned obsolescence means something that actually works & we like is no longer available.

Edit: here's a tip for you... Tiny seeds. Take an extra packet. Get a roll of toilet paper. Lay out a row of 6 sheets. Take an Elmer glue and drop a drop for each seed. Put one seed on each glue drop. Place another row of 6 sheets on top. Let dry. Label type of seed. Put in sandwich bag a when the time comes to plant, put that bit of TP in each spot. Water . It will take a few days longer to start but they do great! It's a great rainy day while movie watching thing to do to prep for planting.

Edit: my daffodils and jonquils love the snow. I leave mine in all year, every year. Don't cut them until the greenery turns brown. That's when the bulbs will be fed fully from the sun.

🎉 I bought one of those scrubber tools you have, I don't use it often though.. it likes to take control, 😂and I like to be in control. And a while ago I mentioned to you about the toilet bowl cleaner, I didn't know it ruins grout until you told me. I no longer use it!

Jodi, if those were Delta Fossett, you can contact the company give them the code number off of them and they may actually send you new ones. That happened to me about four or five years ago with those type of faucets and they were all under recall and under warranty. I hope that helps.

what's the brand tub scrubber are you using. The manual tub scrubbing that I do is not cutting it anymore.
Don't want to dampen your tulip dreams, but you'd have more chance if it was a late easter. End of March is really quick.... Mine typically are in bud stage for more than a week before they actually bloom, and you don't have buds yet. But maybe indoor tulips are way quicker?
I don’t think they will bloom by Easter. The video I watched said one month to bloom so I did it on February 29th. I’m going to start a new batch for Mother’s Day and give it 6 weeks

You might want to get a heat mat for your seeds, its not expensive and really helps with germination. My spring cleaning task was washing the long haired dauchund, he was not thrilled.
I was trying to do it without any equipment 😂 but if they don’t germinate I’ll get a heat mat ❤️

I tried snap dragons last year..... thought they hadn't sprouted last year so the tray got left after I transplanted other stuff. Saw them growing in August or September. They survived the winter after I planted them though, that was a shock.
Oh that’s awesome. I know they are perennial in some zones. My mom had a dahlia bloom last year that survived the winter. She forgot to pull the tuber up and it was close to the house so it must have stayed warm enough to not freeze

I did tuck these in next to one of the runners that the trailer is set on in a sunny south facing location, so there is a heat sink and a slightly warmer microclimate. Hoping they bloom so I can find out if they are colorful or white this year. They will have a backdrop of a pinkish sedum and a magenta mum, and catnip, so I think either would look good, fingers crossed!

Hi Janet yes!! We have deer roaming around the back yard pretty much nightly. The ate all my hostas last year except the ones close to the house. They don’t bother anything in my front yard but I’ve heard from others there is sprays you can put around your plants and flower to keep them away.

Well shucks, now you've got me curious about the toilet bowl cleaner. I will say though, if you have hard water buildup in your shower, toilet bowl cleaner works, but the fumes are horrendous, not recommended for plastic surrounds.
