Hello. if i have an old bellow and order a new one, will i also have to order new c clamps? think my bellow is at least 5 years old or more and probably the old type
After two weeks fighying with this system I finally realized the problem is build up of toilet paper in the bottom of the vacuum tank. This is a great system, just don't use even recommended toilet paper. This system works like a pressure drop trap. Higher pressure in the hose from the toilet. Arrives in the vacuum tank where, because it's a larger volume, the pressure drops, anything heavy or bulky drops to the bottom, the liquids flow over the top.... over time you have a impacted lump at the bottom of the tank. Ideally I could add a 2" access, drop in a 1.5" plastic pipe, go to the waste dock and pump out the vacu tank. There's no information on how to clear this tank. Just lists of expensive parts and pointless videos that just show screws loosening and tightening. Zero troubleshooting. It's Dometic's fault.
Tried 8 times to get the top to go on without the small O ring falling into the bellows. VERY POOR DESIGN. YES IM YELLING. I have a long personal history of successful repairs of all kinds. This it terrible design.
I like your style, nice shirt, perfect for repairing, shiet pump.
Good video…. Very useful
Good video. It would be better if you specify a torque spec for all of the screws. Also tightening the screws in a star pattern SHOULD be recommended.
Hi, great video. Thanks. Just one question, what acid do you use for cleaning the scale build up ?
An answer to this would be great!
@@dksail6724 I have since read that citric acid is most commonly used.
Muriatic acid works. Wear eye protection and plastic gloves. Avoid breathing fumes. Best to work outside. Pour dirty acid down toilet.
Thank you very much
