Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on UA-cam, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on UA-cam. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on UA-cam, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.
If you enjoy this video and my reactions make sure you subscribe to the channel, like the video and comment down below which video you would like to see me react to next.
This is a reaction video used to educate and give my feedback on the song and artists.

The song's composer, the great Burt Bacharach, died about a year ago. "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" is a delightful film and I love the scene of Paul Newman riding his bike to this song. The movie was written by William Goldman who later wrote "The Princess Bride."

There was a time, in the 60s and 70s, when you couldn't swing a dead cat without running into a Burt Bacharach hit. “The Look of Love,” “Walk On By,” “Alfie” to name a few.

He had a great voice. I'm hearing impaired and I could always understand every word he sang. Billy and Sue, Mama, a lot of good songs.

The song was written by Burt Bacharach and Hal David for the 1969 film Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. The lyrics describe somebody who overcomes his troubles and worries by realizing that it won't be long till happiness steps up to greet me.

The song was crazy popular when it came out. For years... seems like everybody knew the words and could sing it. And yes it just seems to pop up out of nowhere in "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" a pretty gritty Western (highly recommended it), but it works. And probably brought a lot of people to the film that otherwise might not have gone due to the song's popularity.

I learned this one on the piano in second grade. Hal David and Burt Bacharach, going from my visual memory on the sheet music when I was so young. What an isolated memory from so long ago.

I love your reaction! When this song came out, we were always smiling. It was always great when it came on the radio. I went out and bought the 45. All these years later, it still makes me smile. “…because I’m free, nothing’s worrying me..” How simply beautiful! ✌️🎶

I remember when this song hit the radio back in the late 60's. My mom really like it, and cranked it up every time it came on. Then the movie "Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid" came out, and the song comes on when Paul Newman and Katherine Ross were riding around a farm on a new fangled, at the time, bicycle. Classic song in a classic scene in a classic movie. All good.

I have always loved this song. It calls up a very specific memory for me of hanging out with one of my childhood friends. I would highly, highly recommend watching Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid if you've never seen it. It's a fantastic movie.

Wow what a classic. Nothing like the 70s sound. I actually liked every song I heard him sing that was on the radio. My favorites are "Hooked on a feeling" which was covered by another artist and was a #1 hit in the 80s. And I loved "Everybody's Out of Town". Towards the end of his life he turned to Christian music. What an incredible artist.

B J Thomas had a lot of great songs in the 60's-80's. He is best known for "Raindrops Keep Fallin' On My Head" from the 1969 movie "Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid". But he had a lot of other great songs such as "I Just Can't Help Believin'", "Hooked On A Feeling", "Another Somebody Done Somebody Wrong Song", "Don't Worry Baby", "No Love At All", "Mighty Clouds Of Joy", "The Eyes Of A New York Woman", "Rock & Roll Lullaby" etc. Sadly he passed away in 2021.

Great Reaction! B.J.Thomas had a great voice, had several big hits ("Billy and Sue", "Mama", "Hooked On A Feeling") and has always been one of my favorite singers. Unfortunately, as so often happens, he developed substance abuse issues which really hurt his singing career. I am just thankful that he was able to create some great music that we can still enjoy today. As always, I thoroughly enjoy watching your reaction videos and hearing what you think of the music I grew up listening to, and I look forward to seeing more!
