I honestly didn't believe one stars existed until I killed one in quickplay. I haven't encountered one since, probably because they get murdered immediately or crouch around all game and die to wellspring timer.

Also, theoretically, if u died to a 6 star ebough, your mmr should still lower, so no reason to even ask. Unless he left out that he worked from a 1 to a 5 star and then got his 6 star, it seems very unlikely to go from 1-6 in a night. Also, tgere is plenty of clout to be gained because people respect 6 stars.

This might be an entertaining experiment for content creation but there are people out there who purposefully and unironically game the system to stroke their own ego. I doubt 1 star is impossible, but probably the main reason it's so hard to get there is just because the majority of people are 3, 4, or 5 star (around 21.1%, 25.5%, 14.5% respectively, or 61.1% total) so, pretty much, you're a lot more likely to be killed by someone who's _better_ than you, meaning you lose a lot less mmr. and also: I've been in a trio with 4 + 3 + 3 stars (3.5 match mmr) and sbmm disabled, going up against 2, 2, 3 star solos (1.5, 1.0, 2.0 match mmr) and a 3 + 1 star duo (2.0 match mmr), whom all had sbmm enabled.
I finished with 1.32 kd, i didnt tank it too much since my kd was like 1.4 (I dont care about this stat so i push shotguns with melee all the time). Lobbies were full on duos, queues 2-5 minutes. Trios were impossible to find

People are hung up on kd too much, it's a pointless stat in a game that consistently requires 1-2 times to be hit - high kd only means you play safe and take no risks. I was at 1.33 at 6 stars 🤷

Everything else is objectively worse than just using normal ammo 😂 I blasted a guy four times with a shotgun less than ten meters away with dragons breath the other day and it did next to nothing to him. In what scenario is that better than just using normal ammo and getting the kill?
God it took me 7 fuckin hours to go from 5mmr just to a 2.5mmr, then only 2 hours to jump back up to a 4.5 star when my 3 star friends wanted to play 😂
I just hit 4* a day ago and every lobby has had atleast 2 teams camping extract/boss lair. Just put me back at 2-3* that’s the most fun. People are competitive, aggressive, and most importantly they take every fight
i did say the same thing as Austin lol.. 1 star is reserved for new players.. impossible to get actual player mmr of 1 unless new. match mmr can be 1* though. you can also derank in quickplay where there is no matchmaking, but seems to always be full of new and low mmr players.
