- In today's video, I take you through our recent RV upgrade! We decided to install the Camco Propane Extend-A-Stay onto our mounted propane tank to allow us to stay in one camp spot longer and not have to move our motorhome when we need a refill on propane. The installation process is super easy and we've been using the Extend-A-Stay propane adapter for about a month now with no issues!

Grab a cable lock for the propane tank, just keeps honest people honest, we travel too, travel nurses currently in St. Louis but from Montana, been to Washington, Colorado, Ca, Az and now MO
Yes that is some sound advice! We'll have to buy one for sure! That's awesome that you all are travel health professionals too! We've loved Montana and are originally from St. Louis, MO!
Nice video 👍. I’ve debated installing a similar quick release on our bumper pull. Interesting to see this install on that size of rig! Honestly you could have done this whole video focused on your beard and we would be impressed. Your beard game is on point sir 💪🏻🙌🏼 😂🤣
Haha thanks! Beard vlog anyone? 🤣
Joint Movement DPTs now that’s a YT channel to subscribe to! 🤣
I pulled out my on board tank and now run strictly off of portable tanks. I find the 40lb tank is just about the right size, gives us a minimum of a month per tank with full time.
Does anyone know the length of this adapter after it's installed? I don't have a ton of room in there and need to know before I buy.
I thought hooking that up between those connections was bad? Usually you want to install the quick connect under the RV and leaving the components on the tank alone
I know this an old video but I have an 1988 coachmen rv my tank is attach to my rv like your in the video but mine needs to be replaced how would I do that I’m new to Rving so if you can please help
To be honest, I'm not sure. Most likely you'd have to take it to a RV repair shop to get them to remove the old tank and replace it with a new one. Those coachman tanks can be big!
Instead of buying that elaborate so called T with all them hoses. Just buy a foot or two simple extension hose. That is all. Like this:

In fact I didn't even do that. I just used an extra hose I had from a bbquer. You can simply hook up your bbquer along with its hose right in to you RV system. There is no difference between single and the so called two stage regulator, period.
So, you need to twist the entire hose to install it and you need tools to connect the hoses and you need to shut off the gas to do so. Now you've bled all the gas out of your coaches lines, wasting it, then bleed the entire coach when you turn it back on and repeat it all when you disconnect your aux tank or grill. Not to mention it's over priced.
I think I'll pass and get the one with valves and quick couplers.
