    Coming from “After a freak accident” video, and just checking a few others out here…
    I’ve got to give *mad respect* to this family! I know it can’t be easy in the least and never ends, but I can only imagine all the rewards that blossom through these efforts!

    2 yrs ago I had problems with insects eating my plants. Last year I decided to plant marigolds mixed in my crops and that kept all the pests away. Apparently they don’t like the strong odor that marigolds give off. 😅😂

    How can I find a farm like this where I live? I especially want to know where my meat comes from. I love everything you're doing. Your life looks hard but so worth it. I'm in awe honestly. God bless you and thank you for sharing with us. 💜

    Those are beautiful 😍 plants! So marigolds are natural insect repellents. They give off a scent that alot of bugs don't like.

    No till is legit. It forces the plant to work therefore it grows bigger and stronger. For years I was making sure my soil was fluffed and ready which made for Weak plants.

      Drew, do you just put organic soil over the top soil? Is that what no-till technique is all about?

    • @drewmow
      @drewmow Рік тому +2

      @@doracotterell2863 no till is dig a hole and drop the plant in. You don't have to till all the soil around the plant like I was told forever.

    I have a question, since no-till method doesn't allow nutrients direct access to roots, how do you make this happen?

      She has a video on here that shows how the use food waste in the soil directly below the plants. Its a great info vid if you feel like scrolling her channel!❤

      Depending on where you live, try your local hardware shop or plant nursery. You can also try a farm supplies business. If you don't have these type of businesses near you, buy online from reputable companies who stock good quality products. Go for the best you can afford - going too cheap for the sake of it, isn't always worth it.
      I suggest companion planting as well (like marigolds) as they will help reduce insect pests and the use of pesticides - I doubt you'll want to expose yourself or bub to those chemicals unnecessarily.
      Best of luck with everything! 🌹
