Coming from “After a freak accident” video, and just checking a few others out here… I’ve got to give *mad respect* to this family! I know it can’t be easy in the least and never ends, but I can only imagine all the rewards that blossom through these efforts!
2 yrs ago I had problems with insects eating my plants. Last year I decided to plant marigolds mixed in my crops and that kept all the pests away. Apparently they don’t like the strong odor that marigolds give off. 😅😂
How can I find a farm like this where I live? I especially want to know where my meat comes from. I love everything you're doing. Your life looks hard but so worth it. I'm in awe honestly. God bless you and thank you for sharing with us. 💜
No till is legit. It forces the plant to work therefore it grows bigger and stronger. For years I was making sure my soil was fluffed and ready which made for Weak plants.
She has a video on here that shows how the use food waste in the soil directly below the plants. Its a great info vid if you feel like scrolling her channel!❤
Where do I get this? I’m going to be giving birth with my fourth the month I plant everything so I am looking for every cheat and trick to reduce my time this summer!!
Depending on where you live, try your local hardware shop or plant nursery. You can also try a farm supplies business. If you don't have these type of businesses near you, buy online from reputable companies who stock good quality products. Go for the best you can afford - going too cheap for the sake of it, isn't always worth it. I suggest companion planting as well (like marigolds) as they will help reduce insect pests and the use of pesticides - I doubt you'll want to expose yourself or bub to those chemicals unnecessarily. Best of luck with everything! 🌹
This look so healthy! You must be very pleased with your work! ❤

Google.. is that a serious question
Those are beautiful 😍 plants! So marigolds are natural insect repellents. They give off a scent that alot of bugs don't like.
Those bok choy plants look so healthy and full of life. ❤

Drew, do you just put organic soil over the top soil? Is that what no-till technique is all about?
@@doracotterell2863 no till is dig a hole and drop the plant in. You don't have to till all the soil around the plant like I was told forever.
Those are beautiful looking bunches
❤❤❤I LOVE BOKCHOY❤❤❤❤
Why "no till"?
I know I use some bird seeders and keep the birds around... To keep some of the bugs away
That is the “prettiest” bok choy I’ve ever seen!!!
Taking notes!
Looks delicious.
Netting... do you get earwigs, gophers and squirrels?
you are living my dream 😍
I have a question, since no-till method doesn't allow nutrients direct access to roots, how do you make this happen?

nice
What fabric netting is that?
that "upfront investment is very high" is the problem.
Bak Choy can regrow if you don't cut it too short
How do you keep rabbits out?

What about squirrels? I have problems with squirrels
Get a pellet gun and shoot them
Or rat traps with peanut butter work good for squirrels too…actual rat traps not mice traps
What is no tail organic farming
No till.
