1.靠主恩典奇妙氣力啲保護，
By gracious powers
so wonderfully sheltered
堅心聽候主所安排道路；
and confidently waiting,
come what may,
阮知上帝暝日無停啲照顧，
we know that
God is with us night and morning,
逐個新日子主親切招呼。
and never fails to
meet us each new day.
2.雖然撒但窘迫我心真艱苦，
Yet are our hearts
by their old foe tormented;
兇惡路境背重擔無法度；
still evil days
bring burdens hard to bear;
心靈驚惶，祢拯救穩當堅固，
O give our frightened souls
the sure salvation
這是主祢給阮備辦道路。
for which, O Lord,
you taught us to prepare.
3.祢所斟互我苦杯到滿出來，
And when the cup
you give is filled to brimming
上帝旨意深沉奧得了解；
with bitter suffering,
hard to understand,
阮猶感恩對祢聖手來接受，
we take it gladly,
trusting though with trembling,
因為深信主會疼痛保祐。
out of so good and
so beloved a hand.
4.回想佇此世間祢所賜日子，
If once again,
in this mixed world, you give us
享受燦爛日光喜樂、甘甜；
the joy we had,
the brightness of your sun,
常常記念一生年日無勿記，
we shall recall
what we have learned through sorrow,
