I was going to skip this one, but changed my mind for some reason. Glad I did. Best Hallmark movie I've seen in years. Most of these movies feel like soap operas with snowball fights and Christmas music. But this one felt like a good old fashioned rom-com. Great story. Great supporting cast. No kids to throw off the pacing. It also felt like they hired improv actors. AND they scheduled some rehearsal too -- which always helps the dialog feel more natural and organic. Definitely added to the annual watch list! 👍👍
Hallmark does this to me ALL the time! The "sleeper" movies end up being the B-E-S-T! And typically the ones that bring a tear to my eye! GREAT REVIEW!
#WhoIsFreshPine We loved this one. We want to watch this one again and again. As we said during our review on PTV Live, this is the film to beat this season. Truly a fun romp. Great review. We gave this movie 11 pipers piping!
The producer actually got back to my reply on her post - it was random extras in every scene 😢 We were wrong! 😂 #whoisfreshpine Loved this movie though. I only gave it a 10 so I wouldn’t be so matchy matchy with Daniela 😊
I absolutely loved this movie! I went into it expecting it to be okay at the most, ended up loving it ❤ It's one of my new favorites and I'm looking forward to watching it again and again. I agree, it should've been a Friday or Saturday night movie but regardless of when it was shown, it's now one of my favorites ❤🎄🤩🎁
I thought this was a great one as well. I agree with John. 9 Lords a leaping . I loved the way they edited the scene where he built the house and she found it so it looked like they would meet, but then they revealed that he had left! The line dancing bar was my favourite stop on the crawl. All those near misses were delightful!
This was the best HCM I have seen. It was funny and every character was developed. Should have saved this till the end, now, every movie will be compared to this one.
Omg! Someone finally got a Polkaroo reference! I think we’ve done it a few times. 😂 We also mentioned “Big Comfy Couch” recently, which I also think is Canadian tv. - John

I am not one to start rumors, but one of the pines was played by Chris Pine.

I would have really enjoyed the line dancing, and tobogganing. Although both of those things are much more dangerous with cider involved!

Wait. Y'all are from Ontario? I caught that shout out to Polkaroo. Say less, that's an immediate subscribe from me.
