Bonjour.
Dans cette phrase : "Le guide nous a emmenés", emmener est un verbe transitif direct, donc il s'accorde avec le complément d’objet direct (C.O.D.) "nous" qui le précède.
Le guide a emmené qui ? = nous
Ici, le verbe "emmener" est utilisé avec l'auxilliaire "avoir" et le C.O.D. "nous" est placé avant le verbe, il faut donc faire l'accord.
Le participe passé de ces verbes s'accorde avec le complément d'objet
direct (C.O.D.), uniquement si celui-ci est placé avant le verbe, autre exemple :
J'ai emmené mes affaires chez mes parents.
Les affaires que j'ai emmenées chez mes parents sont vieilles. (le pronom relatif "que" représente le C.O.D et se trouve avant le verbe, donc il faut l'accorder avec l' antécédent du pronom relatif "mes affaires")

What is the difference between jeter and launcer?

Lancer and jeter are synonyms, but yes there is a difference.
"Lancer" means "to throw to/to launch" and implies a purposeful or deliberate action.
For example:
Julien lance le ballon à son frère. = Julien throws the ball to his brother. (in a playful way)
SpaceX a lancé une fusée dans l’espace. = SpaceX has launched a rocket into space.
When you use "lancer" you are talking about throwing something intentionally and with a specific aim in mind. It could be throwing a ball to someone; you expect the person to catch it or launching something into the air with the intention of making it fly.
"Jeter" means "to throw at/throw away," but it's a less cautious throw or if you want to hurt someone.
Example:
Julien a jeté le ballon sur son frère. = Julien threw the ball at his brother. (he wanted to hurt him)
J'ai jeté de vieux vêtements à la poubelle. = I threw away some old clothes.
When you use "jeter," you are throwing something in a less controlled manner, sometimes to hurt. It could be tossing an object onto a surface or at someone or disposing of something by throwing it away.
Both verbs mean "to throw," but the context and intention behind the action determine which one to use.

No, "Je suis allé(e) à la pharmacie" means "I went to the pharmacy."
The tense used is “passé composé” (past tense).
It is formed with the present tense of an auxiliary verb, avoir (to have) or être (to be) + past participle.
So, for this sentence:
“Je suis” is the present tense of the auxiliary verb “être” + allé(e) which is the past participle of the verb aller (to go).
If you want to say, "I am going to the pharmacy."
You need to use the present tense, so you can say:
Je vais à la pharmacie. = I go to the pharmacy/I am going to the pharmacy.
Je suis en train d'aller à la pharmacie. = I am going to the pharmacy.
