Thank you for your comment, I tried to avoid speaking too slowly as it doesn't sound natural, but can slow down a bit on the first sentence, then repeat a second time at a natural pace. The more you listen to sentences at a natural pace, the more you will improve your listening, even if it's harder at the beginning.,

Hello teacher, I’m glad that you sharing this kind of videos it’s helpful for beginners, I’m so enthusiastic to understand and express myself in French and also writing, but anyway, I realized something during my French journey , English and French for me are common in a weird way hehe but trying to improve my French my English also improves, hehe but my question teacher is do you think that someone can get the language so quick, I mean what is your advice to get vocabulary so quick?, and merci for your time.

    • @learnfrenchwithescargot
      @learnfrenchwithescargot  11 місяців тому +2

      Hello,
      Thank you for your message.
For your question about how quick you can learn French, it will depends on many factors, for example:
      -Your motivation and time.
-How often do you learn French?
If you study 5 times per week, you will improve faster than if you only study 1 time per week.
-How long to do you study each time, 10 minutes, 1 hour, etc.
-Do you self-study or have a teacher?
-Do you live in a French speaking country or not?
If you start from zero, my advice is to find a French teacher near the place you live or online, to get the basics, then after a certain level, you can self-study.
But if you can't do that, there are plenty of ressources available on the internet.
Watch videos on UA-cam, watch French movies or series (with French subtitles), or even French cartoons for kids, listen to French songs, read easy French books, try to practice with French people, on OmeTV for example.
With the vocabulary, you probably noticed that for some words, you remember them after hearing them one time, but other words you can't remember them after hearing them ten times.
For some people, writing the vocabulary in a notebook is really helpful to remember the words.
Some people prefer to listen several times to the same words, or use flashcards.
You need to find what works the best for you, and learn at your pace. If you self-study, it's better to learn a bit everyday, like 15-30 minutes than one time per week for 2 hours.
And try to repeat out loud when you listen to French audio files, repeat like a parrot, even if you make mistakes, practice makes perfect.
Good luck with your French learning journey.

I have searched but alas did not find an answer
How to add emphasis as in "I do"?
    For instance
Emphasising "do" as in dreams do come true
Perhaps Les rêves deviennent réalité, c'est sûr
And then there's the famous French song
Je t'aime from the verb aimer like/love
How does one convey a strong sense of the word love?
Perhaps the tone of voice as that in the lady who is singing in the song?

    • @learnfrenchwithescargot
      @learnfrenchwithescargot  Рік тому +1

      Hello.
To add emphasis in French, you can do it in different ways, and as you mentioned the tone of voice is also important.
      For example:
Do you like running? Yes I “do” like running.
      Aimes-tu courir ?
Oui, j'aime courir - Yes, I like running (normal)
Oui, j’aime vraiment courir - Yes, I really like running (adding the adverb, vraiment - really)
Oui, j’aime beaucoup courir - Yes, I really like running a lot (adding the adverb, beaucoup, a lot, very much)
Oui, j’aime courir, j’aime vraiment ça - Yes, I like running, I really do (repeating the verb aimer twice)
Courir, oui j’aime ça, c’est ma passion - Running, yes I like it, it's my passion (placing the verb before the subject)
So, for your sentence, dreams come true - Les rêves deviennent réalité, you could say:
      Les rêves deviennent vraiment réalité.
      Les rêves se réalisent vraiment.
Les rêves finissent toujours par se réaliser.
Les rêves deviennent réalité, c'est sûr/certain. (your example works too)
The song “Je t’aime” you mentioned, is it the one from Lara Fabian?
If it is this song, I wouldn’t recommend expressing your love that way, a bit too intense for your partner I would say 😊.
You can still convey a strong sense of the word love, with less intensity in your tone and by adding words, for example:
Je t’aime - I love you (normal way)
      Je t’aime à la folie - I love you madly/to death
Je t’aime, et je t’aimerai toujours - I love you, and I always will
Je t'aime du fond du coeur - I love you from the bottom of my heart
Je suis fou/folle de toi - I am crazy about you (You are extremely in love with that person)
Je t’aime passionnément - I love you passionately (not really use in spoken French)
I hope this was helpful for you!

Your comments will take some time to digest and learn how think in French
I like the idea of Les rêves deviennent vraiment réalité

Parce que is generally applied to mean 'because' while in some sentence ' car'.. Can both be used to kean 'because'.. Hope there is not much dIfference Between the two.

    • @learnfrenchwithescargot
      @learnfrenchwithescargot  Рік тому +1

      Sorry, I missed your question.
They basically mean the same, but there's a subtle difference of value between the two.
"Parce que” acts like a conjunction, it introduces a subordinate proposition (locution conjonctive)
And "car” is a coordinating conjunction (conjonction de coordination)
Je peux courir longtemps parce que je m’entraîne souvent. - I can run for a long time because I train a lot.
In this sentence “parce que” introduces the cause of the fact stated in the main proposition. Because you often train (the cause), you can run a lot.
Je peux courir longtemps car je m’entraîne souvent. - I can run for a long time because I train a lot.
In this sentence “car” introduces a justification of what is stated in the preceding proposition and is more akin to “puisque” (since,as) which expresses the consequence.
Je peux courir longtemps puisque je m’entraîne souvent. - I can run for a long time as I train a lot. (running for a long time is the consequence of your regular training)
Both can be used in most cases, to convey the same meaning. But in some cases, in certain phrases, you can only use que car or que parce que.
