Right, this is Paul Jackson Jr. a studio guitarist who has had a brilliant career by playing in so many hit records by artists all over the world in different types of music. His playing is great.
I love Paul Jackson Jr. This is a nice job on George Benson's "Breezin." Two guitarists that I love & appreciate. I also love Paul Jackson Jr's songs "Encino Shuffle" & "Road to Everlasting"
Who asked for a comparison?...Paul is Paul...George is George...They both respect each others gift. Just enjoy the video that someone labored to post.. for your good pleasure.
Ray - I agree with you. Even the great GB likes to hear how other artists interpret his songs. Example on Utube - look up Ken Karsh - Ode to a Kudu - which he played with GB in the audience! Why not look for the unique things PJJ does in his rendition - and seek out other renditions as well? Just my 2 cents... Otherwise, why waste energy? Just listen ONLY to GB and you wont be disappointed.
i wonder if george benson has seen this...if he has,he may think twice about ever doing this song again! pjj is one of my faves i wish there were more of him on here to see and hear and enjoy
i'm ashamed to say the first time i heard this song was when it was used on beavis and buttheads "come to butthead" lol this is a great performance though this guy is amazing....

I like Gabor Szabos version the best, and by the way it is not Bensons song, it was written by the great Bobby Womack.
