Pantera is my favourite band in the whole world, im only young at 16 but nothing will ever beat this band, dime is the reason i play guitar, i have his guitars, his tone, know all there songs, all his techniques. Dime is my biggest inspiration, so glad i got to saw this live
We got a whole royal family for that. Phil didn’t mention any of his hobbies at the gig. It is disappointing he’sa white supremacist and I’d like that to change. I still love their music. I’m not so sure about Queens of the Stone Age though and I also love their music but I mostly went to see Biohazard instead because Josh Homme turned to the dark side then used cancer as an excuse.
Got tickets today to their show in Stockholm early 2025. I didn't know how excited I was until the tickets were guaranteed. To be able to see Pantera in 2025 is crazy. Sure, it will never be as it was with Dime and Vinnie - but this is the closest we'll ever get to that magic that was back then. I'm thankful for getting the chance experiencing that.
Yeah I'm going to the UK tour and never thought I would ever see them. Spent my entire 20s obsessing with a band, I never thought I'd see. It's a nice feeling, I'm excited too. Have massive fun!!!! 🎉

Saw Pantera live in Seattle in 1997 at the Mercer arena. They came out of the dark with flashlights and just started saying "I want a mosh pit over there, I want a mosh pit over there." The guys in the crowd told the girls to head to the outer edges of the crowd near the walls. When they started jamming the Marshall stacks were insanely loud and I felt this pressure from all the people behind me. Someone fell down and people quickly picked them back up so they wouldn't get trampled. My ears rang for a day after the show. INSANE.
The second massive thanks Dude. Due to health i could not get there thank you so .much for up loading this it made my weekend much better thank yOu SO dam fucking much

When bloody Busted a 2000's teeny boppers brigade was there, sums it up. I can remember when fans would be enjoying themselves and giving Pantera a proper audience
An audience standing still while holding up smartphones like a bunch of melts rather than moshing? Then again so was the band. As a mid 90s metaller this performance blows and so does the audience. Glad I didn't waste a hotel ticket, day pass or travel costs on this. Saw more energy at a MADNESS cover tribute band and they weren't even metal.

Thank fuck it's not just me, and does Zakk's riffing sound flat. Not just in this vid, which I know is just a mobile, but in general. Like he can't quite get that fat groove sound.
It means in your brain something is broken and you have to figure out a hobby to find so that you don’t have up or some anger and take it out on people that matter to you
This is just an example of why I don't bother going to live shows, I've been to Download before it was Download (Monsters of Rock) and you would have got carried off your feet anywhere near the front of the stage such was the rowdiness. This is so tame and most shows now are the same. I feel sorry for the bands having to look out at a load of people watching a show through their phones rather than living in the moment.
We’ve all got old and the young know no different. Not like they have the opportunity of going to small sweaty clubs, week in week out and learning the techniques needed to survive in a raging sea of humanity. Same reason I don’t go.
Feel the same- saw Guns and Roses at the O2 a few years back and had to move past armies of city lads in smart clothes filing on their phones just out of work 👎 that’s fine, just not at metal gigs.
The signature part of this solo are Dime's "fake echos" where he uses his left and right hands to slide up the neck, Zakk doesn't bother doing them @ 5:28
@@__-bc4bs Yeah it's not a huge deal as he's playing more or less the same notes, and I've seen he has done Dime's fake echos in some clips. What really bothers me is how he plays the main riff. He's not playing the main bend correctly, and apparently no one has told him.

'What's going on in Metal today?' Well, a number of things. The cost of transporting heavy and large tube amplifiers is too prohibitive nowadays. Most top-tier bands are using amp modelers that go direct to front of house PA, by comparison they are small and light, which makes it far cheaper to transport them. Meaning, that bands no longer use actual amplifiers on stage because it costs too much to do so. Performers are sent their audio wirelessly, through in-ear monitors.
