That was insane on the boost and launch nice work Looks like an amazing set of upgrades Kyle
Is that the Maptuner x I have spring and switch just need a tune not sure which to go with ?
What bov do you have ?
Ibexx made a phenomenal tool for the secondary clutch. Look it up.
121 degrees here Kyle @Rustbelt Mechanic outside and inside Shop Temps are around 146 degrees have to leave the ac on with bays open so hot here
That’s hot stuff! Yeah I think that’s why I can’t get to my top time. When I hit that top 0-60 it was only 50 degrees out lol
@@RustbeltMechanic yeah the cooler weather will defenitly slow the 0 to 60 down
Where did you get that bracket for the map tuner that mounts to your dash?
Is there a reason to take off the primary clutch just to install the spring
It’s to easy not to….
How did you get a flip up front windshield with the intrusion bar? Very nice.
I did a video installing it. But it fits just fine👍🏻
Nice install video very informative and good demonstration
What was the app you used on your phone?
Do you have any info on making your car street legal in Ohio? I’m in toledo and would like to get a plate for my x3. Thanks!
Does the launch control switch replace the override switch? I have the same tune and looking at adding launch control.
Yes it replaces the switch.
Might be a dumb question..... but do you work on other people's Can ams.......I just bought the 2021 XRC turbo rr....... and I've noticed not to many people work on these around me...... I'm in Cincinnati not to far from Springfield
Sorry not really doing any side work unfortunately. The side by side blog guys are. They aren’t all that far up into Michigan.
@@RustbeltMechanic That's what's up man appreciate the responses
Off topic but which bracket did you use for the maptuner to bolt up to the cluster
One from KMS performance I believe
Good video @Rustbelt Mechanic
Where im from that belts looks great run it till it breaks 😂
Think the two step is louder than mine? I wanna run in Mexico with that thing.
I wanna go to Mexico 🇲🇽🤘🏻
Rustbelt Mechanic lets make it happen! You know I’m not to far from the border.....
Is this all on stock clutching? Just a new spring? I got the shocker and want to do 2 step on a stock 20 rr. Thanks!
Yes all stock clutching aside from the engagement spring.
Is it just a launch tune or do they do a performance and launch tune as well?
It’s performance as well. I have also added bigger charge tubes, a BOV and adjusted the pressure at the wastegate. This is their 240ish hp tune. It’s the highest you go without changing bigger parts or going to E85.
How much did it change the driving manners of the machine can you still rock crawl with it
How do you see psi on your xtuner?
It’s under the data.
Has any problems? Just curious
Absolutely none yet!
Do you launch on 2 wheel drive or 4?
2 wheel drive on dry pavement. I’m scared of snapping an axle or driveshaft if I launch in 4wd on the road
Rustbelt Mechanic thats the reason why im asking lol..great video helped me big time !
@@el24najera I have launched my 19 X3 XMR with Evo 3R-93 tune in 4wd and its scary how much it hooks. Ive only done it a couple times in fear of breaking an axle
Hoe much hp you have on x3
It was Evos 250hp tune
@@RustbeltMechanic 250hp on 93 octane? That sounds like a lot for a turbo R is 250hp a “package” thing with clutching and exhaust/tune etc.?
I mean the secondary
Much easier for using the tool.
Lol hurry up i need to go pop pop lmfao Kyle @Rustbelt Mechanic
